Get matched with top sewer main clearers in Saint Petersburg, FL

"Very prompt service. Tech arrived, inspected the issue, used his equipment to clear slow flushing toilet and all was well. Most pleased."

"Garrett came on Monday morning to start the job. The line had been marked and went under my garage floor, so they had to trench out through the concrete. They told me up front that the entire job could take three days. So, they very carefully cut the trench and started breaking up the concrete. Note, that my start date is in August, so this was very hot work. Day two they completed getting rid of the concrete and unearthing the sewer line. The found it was ABS piping and that when the house was built it was laid OVER the footer of the house and out to the takeout. This was a major problem as when they considered going under the footer the pipe did not meet the line out to the city connection. At, that point they had to reassess, call in the city to see where their pipe was underground, call the proper people to mark all the lines, as the power, cable, phone and sprinkler lines were all in the same place.
They had started the process of digging, by shovelful, no mechanics, and had to continue that process. To make things more complicated, they had to go under my french drain. Dave and Jack were wonderful. In spite of all of the complications and the heat, they were cheerful and detailed. On day three, I believe, it was it passed inspection by the city and they finished the work of closing it in on day four.

I am very pleased to have the problem corrected and to know that that issue will never arise again.Thank you Garrett Plumbing!"

"I love working with professionals that are honest and clear with you on everything that is going."

"Did a great job troubleshooting sewer drain and gave me a estimate."

"Let me begin by saying that I have talked to the owner about my dispute and that, although he promised to look into it and issue a refund, I've not received it. My whole house was backed up on a weekend. The first plumber was a very good, polite, young guy who put nearly 200' of wire down the vent stack to clear the clog. The main line on the street is 50' away. A month or so later, it was clogged again and a different plumber came out to perform the same task and cleared it again. Two weeks later, it was clogged again and they sent out another plumber, waiving the 'call out' but couldn't get past 40' due to roots, in fact he had great difficulty snaking past the bathroom and spent hours trying - good for him, but I was paying for it. They called a more experienced guy out who brought a different tool - the right one for the job. He located the main clean out trap which was buried, although he broke the top of the cast iron fitting with his tool. He identified roots 40' down my main. They suggested now that the broken trap needed to be replaced for $480, plus run a camera for $800 - 1200, then the cast iron main would have to be replaced - likely several thousand. Once he saw me starting to dig up the lawn to find the supposed broken cast iron line with tree roots so I could go to Home Depot to do a DIY, he told me the truth. . . . the clog was on county property and they would clear and replace it all for free. I called the county, they were out the same day, ran a camera, dug up the lawn and the street replaced asbestos (not iron) pipe, and were great. Over $800 spent with Slaughter. . . I don't mind paying for the emergency call out, but I do for the inexperienced plumber's time, the broken trap, and the return calls when they should have told me it was county property at the start. The owner said he'd refund a portion and brief his crew, giving him the opportunity to right the wrong - no response since. Since I promised him to give him the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to do the right thing instead of blasting his business on social media, , I'm making this post. I will also share on other sites if there is still no response through Angie's List. I'll update if he follows up. As for Angie's List, this is the 6th home service I've used based on their rating and I've had very poor luck. I'll probably be cancelling my membership very soon."

"Services performed: plumber ran snake from vent stack to clear sewer line blockage; and, a camera diagnostic to identify cause of the blockage. On site tasks were performed in a punctual and professional manner. The camera diagnostic of the sewer line was included in the overall costs -- the video clearly identified the cause of the sewer blockage. Good value for the services provided."

"I needed the pipes cleared because of some back up in guest bathroom shower. Cecil arrived during the appointment time frame, called ahead 30 minutes, and performed the task I wanted all in a very timely manner and for a reasonable price."

"They did an amazing job clearing out stoppage and left us amazing options"

"Nick came out and unclogged my main line he was super helpful and friendly"

"Our experience with Red Cap was outstanding. We had a serious main sewer blockage that required replacement of most of the sewer line. From our first visit from Alberto, through Blake examining the line with a camera, to the remarkable work of Rudy and Duran doing the actual replacement, we were highly impressed by their professionalism and knowledge. Rudy and Duran especially deserve high praise for their hard work in 90+ temperatures. They were always cheerful and polite. Highly recommend Red Cap!!!"
