"Our interaction with Mark and his team can be summed up in one word:  Amazing!   <br /> From the moment that Mark arrived to give us a bid (he arrived exactly on time) to the last minute they packed up their truck on the last day, this was by far the most professional work ever performed at any of our homes.  When we requested a few minor additions to our original proposal, Mark coordinated and implemented our changes without skipping a beat.  Mark and his team arrived every day at the exact time promised.  We were impressed with Mark's vast amount of experience and creativity.  They were an absolute joy to work with and we will hire them for any land or hard-scaping needs, going forward.  Our neighbors are raving about the work we have performed.   <br /> Mark, Jim and John went out of their way to ensure we received exactly what we wanted for our front yard and back yard.  It was clearly obvious to us that this team enjoys what they do because they are so good at it.   The pride Mark takes in his work shows in the final product.  Mark and his team are non-smokers, as well as being clean, respectful, and paying attention to every small detail. This team of men like to have a good time, and we shared a lot of laughs, and made some great memories.   <br /> If you are looking for any type of hardscaping such as retaining walls, pavers,  or anything related to brick for your home, our family and friends strongly recommend Mark Walters Walls.  Thank You, Gentlemen!!!!! <br /> Debbie and Jeff Jackson <br /> St. Charles, Missouri   <br />"

"The company did all of the fertilization and weed control for the full season. At the beginning of the year, Kevin walked though all the recommended services for my lawn and allowed me to select those I wanted.  I knew the full cost up front. He would call before each service and made sure I was happy. Bottom line is all I had to do was water and mow. Definitely recommended and I will use them again next year."

"Landesign did an absolutely fantastic job, and I highly recommend them. We wanted not only to increase our curb appeal with low maintenance landscaping, but also to fix our problems caused by water. Landesign did such a wonderful job that I've already been handing out the landscape designer's business cards to my neighbors and others who ask for them. We got bids from multiple companies, and Landesign stood out from my very first contact on the phone with Tammy. She was the only landscape designer who asked if I had a plot plan, which impressed me, and I don't impress easily. She continued to amaze me when she came out to discuss my needs. I mentioned that I wanted to replace our nearly 30-year-old disintegrating landscaping timbers with walls. Also, I wanted to add curvy beds and to get rid of as much grass in front as possible while still looking elegant. Tammy said she could already visualize the design in front and then explained her thoughts. I was amazed because her vision was exactly like what I was thinking. From the start, she and I were on the same wavelength, which made working with her so much fun. I'm an avid gardener and already had a veggie and pollinator garden, so gratefully Tammy was so supportive of me wanting to plant native plants as much as possible, among other things. (I found Landesign initially through the GrowNative website and then checked them out here on Angie's List.) We had a couple of different crews come out: one for the hardscaping and another for the landscaping. Bruce, Jeff, and their crew did such a fantastic job on the hardscaping. I've had several neighbors comment specifically on how lovely the craftmanship is of our walls and curved paved patio, besides the numerous comments on how fantastic the overall design is. Then, Jason and his landscaping crew did a great job too of finishing the dry creek bed, rain garden, and a few other things, besides the planting and mulching. The crews were great to work with and cleaned up at the end of each day. Also, either Tammy or much more often Joe, the project supervisor, came out most days to check on the progress and talk about what would be done next. They also answered any questions I had. I really appreciated all of this since my project was rather extensive, and I was doing a lot of transplanting. Since Landesign's bid price was in line with the others, it was Tammy who really sold the project. I couldn't have asked for a better landscape designer and feel very fortunate to have gotten her. My family and I couldn't be happier, and I've already asked her for a bid on some additional work. Note: the photo I uploaded is from when the crews were still working on the landscape. I didn't take any new photos after they finished."

"Richie immediately returned my message to schedule a quote date and time. He was professional, punctual, responsive and fair, exactly what everyone is looking for when contracting work. Upon his visit he asked if he could mow my grass because the length would make it difficult to remove the leaves. I’ve tried to contract a lawn mowing service in the past but they always said they couldn’t do my back yard because the gate opening isn’t wide enough for commercial mowers to pass. Richie said no problem, he has lots of clients in the same boat as me. Today when I came home my grass was cut immaculately and not a leaf in site. Tomorrow he’ll return to trim 3 large trees and to spot power wash my home because I asked to only do front and back where it really needed it. I’m just so impressed with the work and that I found a contractor who does this work and does it so well."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Sainte Genevieve, MO

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
