"The final result was Someone who said he was Sunny, but signed my receipt Bill did fix the problem and the machine is working just fine.(40 minute repair for a $175.00, flat rate) A word of caution. They advertise on their website they know Bosch, not too sure about that. For some reason the softner dispenser will never drain. I did ask Sunny/alias Bill about that. Unable to diagnose. I was going to have him look at the dryer, but changed my mind. Sunny/Alias Bill was a very Honest/ nice person and I would not want to reflect a negative review on him. However, Sunny Appliance Repair, the bill did not reflect the discount. Not a good way to win over a new customer! I would use them again with a repair I already understand whats wrong, however not for any type of maintenance repair"

"My heating and air conditioning units needed repairs more and more frequently, and the upstairs had never cooled properly during the summer months. I received four estimates for new heating and air conditioning for my home. <br /> Lovotti's gave me the best customer service. The estimator was a good listener and gave excellent information to help me figure out how to have better air cooling (design problems). Even though their price was not the lowest and I was worried about the brand, I believe that I made the right choice of the four. I did careful research and comparisons. Lovottis had the most personal recommendations from friends and neighbors. The business is trusted locally, and they answered all of my questions with care. There are warranties in place. I must add that even though It wasn't the deciding factor, it was a major plus that Lovotti's was the only business of the four that had expertise and training to apply for PG&E rebates. (The PG&E check was slow to come but really helped reduce the overall cost to me.)  <br /> Lovotti's installation team was prompt, professional, friendly, and service oriented. They also kept me informed about their work schedule and discussed with me each problem that arose during the work. One example was the placement of the outdoor units: when they thought they were almost finished, they ran a test that showed that the fan exhaust was reflected back from an overhang, which they knew  would eventually cause overheating and possible failure. I wouldn't have realized that. I was pleased that they readily moved the unit so that the air could circulate properly, even though they had to stay late for  the extra work.  <br /> The heaters have worked fine so far.  We had a mild winter, so it is impossible to compare the energy costs with the past.  Also, it is too soon for me to comment on the performance of my new air conditioning system, as I haven't needed to use it much yet. One hot day last fall, I tried out the whole house fan, and it cools the entire house in short order by pulling all the hot air out of the house and attic space when needed. Amazing. I wish I had it during the past fifteen years! <br />"

"My relatives called a repairman when their refrigerator/freezer started to defrost (it stopped working). The first repairman came out to inspect and said that it needed to be recharged with freon and that he would have to come back the next day to do the repair. Relative called me to explain situation and both of use thought to strange that he didn't carry freon with him on a refrig repair, by the way his quote was $240.00, including the 1st service call. I advised to suck up the $40.00 service call and let me see what I could do. I checked on Angles list and found Don's Appliance Repair that was near their house and called and left message in the early evening. Don returned call shortly and I explained situation. The next day he called on relatives home and evaluated that the fridge was to old and needed to much $ to repair without certain results and advised they buy a new one or get a different one. The fridge is only about 25 years old and we all agreed that without a certain outcome his advise was good. For $40.00 he spent a lot of time and did a lot of checks and took time to explain the situation. We all believed he gave us good honest advise for the minimum reward for himself.
