Get matched with top wood flooring installation pros in Salinas, CA

"I had already visited 3 hardwood floor businesses, and still wasn’t sure what kind of floor I desired and didn’t receive much help. I had read reviews on all 3 companies. I went back on Yelp and read about 5 star flooring. The reviews were very impressive, almost too good to be true, so I decided to make a visit. The owner of the business, Joe, was there when I arrived. He was very welcoming and listened to my concerns about what I expected in my new wood. He then walked me over to the bamboo wood and I absolutely fell in love with it. He sent out an estimator the next day and got back to me within a few days with a bid. Truth be told, I was shocked to see how reasonable it was, compared to my other bid. After the wood came in his crew started work right away. These 3 men were very professional, answered any questions I had during the process with patience, worked very long hours and left everything tidy when they left. They did a beautiful job with the installation. One thing I would like to add is there was minor damage to an area of the house and I emailed Joe about it. He came out to the house right away and had it repaired the same day. I am very happy with 5 Star Flooring, and would definitely recommend them. I encourage everyone to get their 3 bids in, then save the best for last “5 Star Flooring.” You won’t be disappointed."

"Miguel is very friendly and knowledgeable. His team is hard-working and diligent. The floors took a while to dry but they were patient. Just be ready for some heavy duty smellsâ - especially with oil-based finishing. The end result is some very nice looking floors!"

"I started with looking for someone to install flooring we had picked out somewhere else, but had not purchase yet. Dan came over and was willing to do the job, but when we showed him the sample of what we thought we wanted he suggested we take a look at the samples he had. We are so glad we went with his suggestion, our floors are beautiful! The workmanship of his crew is top notch and fast. I highly recommend Floor Coverings International."

"Quickly and simply installed my floor in a matter of hours. Very kind and hard workers. Price was almost the same as what was quoted on the phone."

"Jose was very prompt in replying to my request to change air filters, replace my tankless water heater cartridge, paint a wood border and garden stool. He was able to work around my schedule and complete these on a Sat. We even discussed some upcoming projects for spring, I will definitely hire him again!"

"Johnny determined that repairing my floor was not feasible. He was very honest and said the damage wasn't tha tbad and he would recommend not trying to fix it."

"Cost effective. Floor looks great. However, there was a small problem with color getting on a part of the wall, after speaking with Evan (the owner of Metro Carpet and Flooring,) he agreed to come back to my home and fix the problem. I haven't heard from him since."

"Quality of finished floors is very nice."
