"Fifth contract with SerView Pro's owner, Gary. Awesome work, great service, and a reasonable price. Contractors show up when they say they will and the work is impeccable. Thanks to four of the jobs (patio awning, roofing, gutters, and a repair/paint of the siding) -- the outside of my house looks great. Inside, they have remodeled my kitchen. The workmanship has lasted over the six-year period of these projects. Thank you, SerView Pros!"

"I found Mr. Ramiro by chance, he was working on a house a street down while I was walking my dog. We were selling our house and I anticipated needing roof repairs so I took a quick pic of his work van for future (possible) reference. I called him a week later when we needed roof repairs done and time was of the essence, as it often is when selling a house and having to meet deadlines. He worked with us to squeeze our project in although he was busy with other jobs, so that we would meet our deadline for the inspection report. This was enough to have me a satisfied customer. However, he continued to go above and beyond with his great communication, his willingness to work with our time constraints and scheduling, and even provided on the job pics to us while we were busy at work. What an outstanding roofing company, my only regret is that we are moving away and I can't save him in my phone for future business,"

"Not only did Galen act as the general contractor on this job, he also was a design consultant, making several suggestions for improvements. The job was done in a professional manner and was completed in a shorter time frame than was estimated. If I have another job to be done, Galen will definitely be the one I call."

"Price was fair and the materials were good quality. Bob Schmueckle was great, walked us through the steps to get the best gutters and leaf guard for this project. (We have a lot of live oak trees on our property) He answered all our questions, kept us advised on the start date and checked the completed work. The installers were great, work was excellent and cleaned up after they finished. Would and will recommend this company."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
