"He showed up to assess the job. We agreed on a price. He told me he was busy for a month so I waited. The day before the job he messaged me to send him more than half up front or he wasn?t coming. He never mentioned advanced payment. I said I wasn?t comfortable but would certainly pay him as agreed for the job. He told me he wasn?t coming if I didn?t send him money first. For a handyman? Leave me waiting for a month then demand payment up front before doing one minute of work? Totally unprofessional!!! Time waster!"

Small jobs welcome

"I have attempted to reach out to Burns Handyman Services regarding the Damages to my rental, I secured Benjamin for a job to mount televisions in my townhome and while I was happy with the first install, he drilled a hole right into a water line which happened to be the Riverside County Fire Dept Water Suppression system. Both myself and the Owner of the property have made several attempts to reach out and try to resolve the issue and the damages and we haven't gotten any calls back. This is unprofessional and downright negligent. I hope you all have insurance, because you will be left with all the damages if God forbid a water line is mistaken for a stud. Please do the right thing and call us back, this is over a month now of no RESOLVE."

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I cannot say enough great things about Fine Tune Handyman Services! Our yard was an absolute disaster — a total jungle of overgrown weeds that had completely taken over. I was honestly embarrassed by how bad it had gotten. From the moment the Fine Tune team arrived, they were professional, hardworking, and clearly took real pride in their work. Before and after pictures uploaded."

FAQs for handyman service projects in San Bernardino, CA

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
