"We had a really great time working with Oren and Michale. From the first time we talked to them to the very end, they were super good at what they do. T hey changed our old-looking house into a new, nice one that feels really welcoming. Our project included complete home remodeling, new roof, solar panels, new elevations for exterior walls, landscaping and hardscaping work. They did a very, very good job making everything look perfect and paying attention to every little thing. I think everyone should use them for their house!"

"I cannot imagine a better experience than the one we had working with Modern Green Constructions. Every employee I dealt with was highly professional and clearly communicated every step of the way. Their attention to detail, knowledge, and craftsmanship showed in every aspect of our kitchen remodel. They listened to our ideas, made recommendations, and collaborated with us to create the kitchen we had hoped for. Included in our remodel was a small powder room and refacing our fireplace. They finished on time and on budget with all, and we could not be happier."

"Green Planet Remodeling just completed our kitchen remodel and we couldn’t be happier with the results. They were upfront about costs, stuck to the schedule, and the quality of their work was excellent. The design process was collaborative — they really took the time to understand how we use our kitchen and gave us suggestions that made a big difference (hello, hidden spice rack!). They handled everything with professionalism and made what I thought would be a chaotic process feel pretty stress-free. No hidden fees, no runarounds, just good people doing great work!"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in San Francisco, CA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
