Customers say: True professional

"We decided to remodel our outdated bathroom, and McCormick Home Builders was a fantastic choice. Khaled and the team delivered high-quality work within the timeline and our budget. Every detail, from the tile work to the lighting, was beautifully done. They communicated well throughout, keeping us informed at every step, and the end result was truly a spa-like bathroom we can enjoy daily. We’d love to work with them again!"

"I cannot imagine a better experience than the one we had working with Modern Green Constructions. Every employee I dealt with was highly professional and clearly communicated every step of the way. Their attention to detail, knowledge, and craftsmanship showed in every aspect of our kitchen remodel. They listened to our ideas, made recommendations, and collaborated with us to create the kitchen we had hoped for. Included in our remodel was a small powder room and refacing our fireplace. They finished on time and on budget with all, and we could not be happier."

"We bought our first house something over a year ago and we knew it will need lots of work . The house was build in 1960s and never really remodeled. We hired HomeTech to completely remodel / reconfigure existing 2 bedroom 1 bath house , added square footage to the first floor and build new second floor . We started with remodeling of the existing house while working on the plans for the additions which definitely made the project to go smoother and finish faster. The fun part of the project was the design and showroom visits. HomeTech designer really understood our style & needs, had great suggestions & ideas and the project manager good points & recommendations to keep the project within our budget . The project was completed well within the estimated time Everyone from HomeTech team was straight forward and honest from the first meeting throughout all the project, always available to answer our questions via a call / text / email. They build us an amazing 5 bedrooms 5 & half bathrooms home and we are very fortunate to have found them and worked with them."

"We enjoyed our experience with Aesthetic Elements Construction (AE) very much. We performed a small to medium-sized remodel of our kitchen and some other areas where new walls were built, walls were removed, countertops installed, and other small items. We are very happy with how the work turned out and it was a breeze working with AE. We would definitely recommend using them and plan to use them for future projects. Pricing: We interviewed 5 contractors for our project and they were in the middle of the pack as it goes in terms of pricing. We were more than OK to pay the additional cost from the low bid because they were incredibly professional, provided the most detailed and accurate proposal out of ALL of the companies we interviewed and we liked their portfolio the best. Responsiveness: You always hear of horror stories with contractors being difficult to schedule, pushing start dates, not showing up for work or disappearing as the project ends, we had none of these issues with AE. They were able to start our project early, showed up every single day until the project was complete, finished the project 2 days earlier than projected (would have been 5 days if the Oakland inspectors made it out faster) and communicated if they were going to be late (which only occurred once due to an employees family emergency). Work Quality: We enjoyed their work quality and are very happy with the results. They kept a super clean work site and worked with us on small changes we wanted, adding scope of work due to City of Oakland inspection requirements and worked diligently to make sure we were happy with the end product by going above and beyond on our end of project punch list."

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in San Lorenzo, CA

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
