"The employee sent to our house to measure was very professional and knowledgeabe.  He was a great help in color selection.  This company has so many choices for colors and patterns that his input was quite valuable.  The making of the awnings was accomplished very close to the predicted time and installation was performed quickly and beautifullly.  We really love the difference these awnings have made to the looks of our home."

"Gary came out and measured for the job, he was very professional and had a variety of fabrics to choose from. I had a design in mind based on a picture I took at a model home for a steel framed fabric structure to sit atop our existing wood patio cover. What they created was far better then I could have imagined. The design had to be modified due to an obstruction on our stucco wall but they returned with the correction in a timely fashion and installed while we were gone. When we returned to see the finished job, I was personally amazed at how they fabricated exactly what I wanted from a two dimentional picture. Also installed a drop shade on the west side of the patio cover to give some badly needed afternoon shade. The end result was a simple wood patio cover had been transitioned into a semi-enclosed outdoor space that is perfect for entertaining and relaxing in the shade. Great customer service, craftsmanship and follow up that is hard to find in the construction trade today. Truly rare and very much appreciated. Thank you Gary and crew.

I’m so pleased and happy with the performance, the product, the design, the quality of the frame and the canvases material, that I don’t even know to starting my review. I’m ecstatic beyond words could described. Having the awning installed, it instantly gives a more polished look to the patio and added value to my home. More importantly, this installation was done in a day, and the price is so much more affordable; Also, I can change the canvas anytime that I choose to. During the process an after, my patio stayed clean. No messiness with concrete, bricks, cement, ton of materials laying around, etc. Before, my patio was dull boring looking, no cover when I want to sit outside. Now I can sit outside day or night, and have plenty of room for a bigger crowd. But what is so essential that, I’m so impressed with this company who rendered the service of installing the awning. When we started looking into getting a patio cover we got bids from three different companies.  We choose to go with PatioCrew.  Now we have a big beautiful insulated patio cover and we love it.  Warren and the crew were all really nice and polite to work with.  They specialize in patio covers and it shows.  They got the permit from the city for us and had no problem hooking up lights and fans under the cover.  The workmanship and quality is great, and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

"We purchased a Sunbrella material retractable awning from North County Deck in 2010, as part of our new deck installation.  North County Deck obtained the awning from Abbott Industries/Abbott Awnings.  It is a large awning (more than 20 ft) operated from a switch inside our house.  The awning has a manual operation in case of power outtage.  It is well made and came with a 5 year warranty.  Recently the awning material split along a seam.  We notified North County Deck, who contacted Abbott and arranged to have the awning picked up and repaired.  Today (11/19/2014) a team from Abbott Awnings reinstalled the awning and ensured it worked properly.  There was no charge to us.  Though Abbott Awnings has new owners since we purchased the awning, they have retained their commitment to customer service.  We will be glad to purchase from them in future.

Al & Steve came to give me an estimate for a patio/porch cover in front of my house.  I wanted it to look like it was part of the house, and I wanted to have a high sealing.  My house is built with an A frame front, so if it was put just under the bottom of the eve, it would be just above the window, which was too low.  Al & Steve were wonderful to work with.  They met with me at least 3 times before the patio cover was scheduled to be installed.  They answered all my questions and instilled confidence that they could make it happen they way I would like it to look.  Steve advised that Michael Kinsman would be installing the cover.  Michael was on time and very professional.  Instead of cutting off a portion of the eve, Michael incorporated the eve into the patio cover and it looks really great.  He made the whole look of the patio cover seem to be a part of the house.  Very talented I would say.  He was also a great person to work with.  He advised me on what switches to install for the fan (yes, they installed the fan for free.  That was very impressive and appreciated.)  I love my new front porch and it was all due to these people.  I would recommend them to anyone.  Thanks so much!"

"The handyman, Quinn, was competent and pleasant, but he communicated poorly with the glass supplier.  One broken bathroom window pane needed to be replaced, and an exact match to the existing glass in the other two panes could not be found.  I told Quinn that I might want to replace all three panes so that they'd match.   After he changed out the broken pane, I decided that I did want to change the other two for an exact match. It was only at that point the glass supplier told Quinn he didn't have matching glass in stock, that it had to be ordered.   Therefore a one day job became a three day job while we waited for the glass to come in, and temporary panes had to be put in so there'd be no holes in the house during a weekend away.   When the "matching" glass came in almost a week later, it was not an exact match - this is frosted bathroom glass, and per the handyman, because the glass was from a different lot, some pieces were more opaque than others.   It's my feeling that SOME of the fault lies with the glass supplier and SOME with the lack of communication between Mr. Handyman and the glass supplier.  The job took 3 times as long as the estimate, and my glass panes are NOT an exact match although that is what I wanted.
