"Super. Alan and nick cut out raised header and widened rough open on my mobile home to accommodate a regular home sized exterior door and security door. Only took 2 hours from start to clean up. They also installed the new hardware. Very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and very reasonable. On time took no breaks cleaned up and vanished. This company has always given me the best service, best price. Always recommended have yet to find a job they cannot handle. "With the guidance and vision of D. Michael Designs, our 36 year old master bedroom has been transformed from a tired same ole, same ole look to a vibrant, fresh – is this really our bedroom – awakening. The renovation encompassed a complete new look from ceiling to floor. The ceiling was freed from its stale, dusty and out-of-fashion “popcorn” treatment. It and all its supporting walls were freshly painted and textured. A new ceiling fan was installed and a new television was wall-mounted. The wall-to-wall carpet gave way to the warm look of real wood flooring throughout the main bedroom, vanity enclave and walk-in closet. The vanity enclave received a new granite countertop, two rectangular vessel sinks, two separate wall mirrors, two medicine cabinets (one for him and one for her). The supporting vanity base was painted a complimentary grey tone that appeared throughout the master bedroom. The crown jewel of the renovation was the offset shower and commode (enclave). The shower walls, shower flooring and the drainage system were given an enchanting mixed application of tile placement – from the floor up three walls to the ceiling. We installed a modern 36” lateral drain along the longest wall in the shower, and the gradual, effective sloping to drain was exceptionally done. When finished, the tile placement gives the impression of one sharing their shower with a real waterfall. A very nice touch. A large two section niche´ is included in the elongated vertically placed tile. New stainless steel shower head, faucet handle, ADA safety hand bars and double curtain rod (with curtain and a spot to hang our towels) truly enhanced the look. The tile flooring in the remainder of the space and adjacent commode, along with the towel cabinet and built-in laundry hamper continued the effect. This entire room was tastefully done in shades of grey… Enough of the narrative. We’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. A huge thank you to D. Michael Designs and his entire team. The whole process of a major renovation while still residing in the space brings its own level of stress and pressure. From the very first meeting and discussion of what we wanted to do, Dave was by our side. His architectural, design and contract capabilities are above what I could have expected. His punctuality, daily coordination and communication were impeccable. This was a huge undertaking, and without Dave’s patience, ideas and knowledge, I can’t imagine how it would have gone over the past months. "I chose ARS out of 6 candidates for my bathroom remodeling project because of Marcus Armstrong. When I explained what I wanted done Marcus was the only contractor who said my particular request to have a walk-in shower was possible and gave me some ideas/choices. And what really determined my decision was the bathtub part of the project. I was leaning towards just leaving it as is, until he came up ideas to help me decide. Marcus's ability to visualize possibilities and provide me with great choices is such a necessary talent which I relied on heavily throughout the entire project and is just ONE of his many great qualities. I always felt that he was fully invested in making my renovation a great experience (and restores my damaged, by horrible experiences, faith in hiring contractors) and like it was his only project. So the professionalism is another high quality trait that is greatly appreciated. I could write a book on all the great qualities Marcus/ARS has, but aside from what I've already listed a few more important traits for a contractor to have is integrity, dependability, and honor. You will pay more going through a renovation specialist, but it's worth it because they deal with all the headaches of hiring and management of all the specific contractors needed to accomplish specific tasks. And ARS does so while providing a guarantee that all work will be completed with high quality standards even when the project is complete I know if something fails to work properly or for instance cracks in the grout are forming that Marcus will get it fixed even though my project is completed. That is also worth the extra you are paying for. There is so much more positive things I could write about these guys so I end this with a glowing recommendation for ARS and my next project of renovating my kitchen & living room will definitely be done by ARS."

"Did a good job taking off the popcorn ceiling and texture on living room walls. Unfortunately when he textured the ceiling again he got the mud absolutely everywhere. It was on the floors, walls, blinds, windows, and closet doors. Although he said he cleaned all of it off, it has been a week since he â  completed â  the job and I am still cleaning/scrubbing everything to get the mud off."
