"We waited to review our project 1 year after completion to be sure that all was well. We are very pleased with the final result. Our only mishap was having miscommunications with B&B when we requested follow up 4 months after project completion – our issues were resolved with a factory representative. No hard feelings. How It Went- Workers were professional and competent. Building on an existing slab is extremely challenging – because the slab slopes away and down from the house – 2 angles that need to be countered when leveling windows and doors etc. When corrective rework was needed (to compensate for a 2 inch site deviation) the team didn’t hesitate and B&B came up with an excellent solution. We retained the exterior stucco exterior of our house for the room and they finished the wall beautifully – it required a lot of fine and patient work. We asked for an 18 inch deep exterior pad – which accommodates a doormat and our foot print. It was done this way – although there was initial push back on this request. We also involved our own electrician, who is familiar with this old house – and we came up with an elegant solution to connect to our home. After project closure, we delayed evaluation until things settled out. Over the next few months, some of the sliding windows became increasingly difficult to open and close – and during an extremely fierce and long rainstorm we experienced a leak coming from one corner of the enclosure. We immediately spoke with B&B. With miscommunications with B&B, we resolved our issues with a factory representative in a single short visit: they added weep holes to the exterior, caulked, replaced a window roller and adjusted windows and the screen doors. We are very pleased with the final result. And so are our kitties."

"I have approximately 900 square feet of grass in my back yard that had deteriorated steadily over the last ten years despite quite a bit of attention from me and my lawn care providers.  Tom and a team of five tore out the existing grass, tilled the remaining soil, replaced several broken sprinklers, deposited a lot of new soil, and laid down new sod.

"I could not be happier with Signature Landscape. They transformed my entire front and back yards, including tearing up and replacing all drainage, irrigation, and lighting. The job was made more challenging by having to work around an old artificial rock pool, and removal of a huge amount of roots from old King Palm trees. One of the big advantages is that they have one crew, who does every step of the work, (other than installation of the lighting), from initial demo to planting of the new landscaping, Because of this, the first step was done in a way not to create a problem for the second step, also done in a way not create problems for the third step etc… The fact that the owner, Moe, and his main foreman, Chepe, have been working together for decades also made a huge difference… their 30 years of experience resulted in great ideas/suggestions that I would have never thought of myself. They came up with great solutions to a couple of years long drainage problems, and instead of squared off planting areas, all of the new planting areas are curved, making for a much more attractive aesthetic. Communication between everyone was always wide open, eliminating any instances where decisions were made by assumption. In addition, they were great about accommodating any special requests that I had (such as using glued ABS plastic to replace the old drainage system). My backyard was replaced with pressed concrete, but it looks like it real stone. The use of colored concrete, and then all the detail work done with coloring, texturing, and pressing the patterns, resulted in not only a natural, beautiful appearance, but one that blended in beautifully with my artificial rock pool. The driveway and front walk were replaced with paving stones, which required expertise, experience and patience, to be done correctly. The result was even better than I could have imagined… Every time I walk on it I am amazed at how smooth and beautifully it turned out. My neighbors feel the same. On a major project like this, the devil is truly in the details, and Moe and his crew have the details covered. Everything was done correctly, no corners were cut, and the finished product was exactly what I wanted. Again, I could not be happier with the job done by Signature Landscape. They were professionals in every sense of the word. I have recommended them to many neighbors, and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who wants a beautiful landscaping job, and wants it done correctly. I wish I had another property for them to transform."

"The plumber called ahead to let me know they were on their way, well within the timeframe they had provided.  When the knock came at the door, two people were there.  They looked at the faucet and the replacement faucet I had purchased.  They then told me that it was going to cost approximately $350 to change out the faucet.  They also showed me a contract I could sign with them for varying amounts which would go towards costs to do various plumbing repairs in my home.  I told them I was not interested.  I had purchased a coupon on Angies list for $59 which was good for $150 worth of work from Benjamin Franklin.  I paid an additional $199 for them to replace the faucet.  NEVER AGAIN!
Previous to purchasing the coupon, I called around to several places and got quotes of $150 to $250 to replace the my bathroom sink faucet with one identical.  I would provide the new faucet.  The coupon on Angie's List said $59 for $150 worth of work from Benjamin Franklin Plumbling.  I thought paying $59 for $150 worth of work, maybe even paying an additional $50 for a total of $109 was a good deal for a faucet replacement. 
When the two plumbers from Benjamin Franklin reviewed the job, they informed me they charged $350 for this type of job.  Had I known that ahead of time, I would not have purchased the coupon.  I had two choices: 1) pay the additional amount and get it done then and there; or 2) send them away and be out the $59.  In hindsight.  I should have sent them away, been out the $59, and looked on YouTube for DIY on faucet replacement.  Instead I chose to get it done at all costs, which to me turned out to be $59 + $199 or $258.  I should have gone with Murphy's Plumbing and their quote of "about $150." 
Benjamin Franklin Plumbers were punctual, courteous, responsive and did a great job on replacing the faucet.  
LESSON LEARNED:  Call and ask a lot of questions about procedures and costs.  Get the facts ahead of time.
