We researched the information about the stone we chose, to check Steve's information, and Steve was completely accurate.  We also very much appreciated the excellent service from Randy who came to our home and so carefully and accurately measured our counter tops for a good fit.  We initially had problems with counter tops that were not level, so Randy advised us regarding how to correct that problem. The installers, Pat and his partner were incredible. They were not rushed but took all the time necessary to do a great job. Pat came to our home twice, without being asked by us, just to be sure that we had we had the best job of disguising the joint lines. We love our new counter tops and the look and feel of the soapstone under our hands.  "

"Granite Transformations fit the bill for us...we didn't want to go through the demo process, but really wanted new, solid surface countertops.  We'd seen and spoken to them at the Del Mar Fair, and after seeing them again at a Home Show we made an appointment for them to come out and give us a bid.  The price was quite comparable to others we'd had, and Rick spent his time walking us through the selection process.  He was thorough and personable.  We were able to get a installation date much sooner than we expected, and two weeks later our countertops were in!  It took them one day to install and then they came back the next day to finish and polish.  There were some quality control issues, but Ray was always quick to return our calls, and the issues were resolved to our satisfaction.  We're very pleased with the whole experience.  One caveat: Do your research and know exactly what type of material you want...this product was the perfect solution for us, but may not be for you.  If you decide to go with Granite Transformations, we think you'll be very happy with their service! "

"When we moved to San Diego our house had Saltillo tile and Stanley Steemer ensured us they could clean them along with our carpets.  Note to self- only use experts to clean saltillo tile.  SS caused damage and didn't know how to reseal the tile.  In 2013 we were recommended another company, but I realized that again, their experience was in general tile cleaning.  I searched Angie;'s list and found Excel Stone.  This is a very, very small family business.  They came and gave an estimate and showed me before and after pictures of other homes.  I also learned there are only a handful of experts in this tile maintainence here and in Arziona. <br /> On the day of the cleaning, the owner and his associate arrived promplty.  They were incrediby careful with our furniture and newly painted walls.  Within two days we could use the entire house again. <br /> While I thought it was expensive, I now realize that you can pay half the price for a general tile cleaner, but then the tiles are either damaged or a second professional treatment is needed. <br />"
