"We have a patio area with a translucent roof and wanted to have more protection to be able to area in cooler weather. The roof has a slope so a triangular shaped transom was also necessary above the curtain rods. The estimator created a design and recommended hardware. In addition to the curtains, Acme created and installed 2 awnings. We visited the showroom / factory to choose our fabric and were very impressed with their work on display. During installation one of the transoms did not quite fit and it was very quickly remade and installed. Everyone we met at the company was courteous and professional. "Our project was a complete installation of Hardie Board siding on our house, sheds and a patio cover replacement. We originally had one half of the house covered in vinyl siding and one half in stucco. The old metal patio cover was from the 60's. GVD's siding crew were craftsmen that expertly installed siding, trimmed and painted that trim on the house and our two sheds, built a special door for the cover of the water heater cabinet, trimmed out the front door eave and pole hiding some sprinkler wires that had long been an eyesore, and took the time to make sure that everything was lined up and perfect. We have an old house that had many issues that GVD patiently overcame without sacrificing quality. We also worked on reducing outside cabling and wiring so that the new siding look is clean. They saved our Leaf Guard gutters and reinstalled them. GVD put up with my questions and concerns along with way. We were so pleased with this engagement that we have signed up with GVD for two follow-on projects."

"We just completed a complicated kitchen remodel and full bath remodel with Done Right Home Remodeling. The project was completed on time, actually early, and for the most part within budget. There are always a few surprises with a project dealing with an 70 year old house and constraints imposed by our first major remodel a number of years ago, not to mention current building codes. Michael and his assistant Ray were wonderful to work with and the ensures positive communication and rapid problem solving throughout the project process. Further, the actual work did not start until all critical decisions were made and key materials in place or their delivery date assured, e.g. new kitchen cabinets.
