"The small project consisted of replacing three valves and wiring them, as well as two other valves, to an existing sprinkler controller. The quality of work was good, although I was not asked how they should run the wire to the controller. They way they did this worked, but was not what I would have asked for. This was a small project, took about three hours, and the price was high, almost $800. I had asked that the existing sprinker system be inspected. The pop-up heads needed to be adjusted and aimed, as well as some drip emitters might have needed to be reconnected or perhaps replaced. Instead, I was given an estimate on replacing all of the popups. When I said that I did not want to replace the popups (which all worked), I got a different, even more expensive bid, which included replacing all of the drip irrigation. Instead of getting a bid to do what I wanted, Gelacio gave me a bid for what he wanted to do, ignoring what I asked for."
