"The service was excellent! They arrived to pick up the vehicle a day earlier which was great. They delivered the vehicle right to my daughter's door and found a side street to unload. The service was delivered within the time frame given. All of my questions were answered via phone or email and the paperwork was seamless and the price was very reasonable."

"The work was done properly and when some additional jobs were added, Mr Grant went out of his way to get subcontractor's in to fix the added jobs promptly. I was very happy with the results and would recommend Steven Grant Construction to anyone who needed a prompt quote and a properly done job. He took the extra steps to finish my job within the quote so I stayed on budget."

"We own an older home that took some good damage from the recent storms. Messing Construction came out immediately, gave us a price on the spot, and made temporary repairs to the roof to stop the leak. They were not able to get the insurance adjusters to pay for a whole new roof. We paid a small repair charge and their price was higher than a few of the bids we received. We were worried about the funny sounding name, but their professionalism and timeliness told us everything we needed to know. The exterior work went great and we decided to have them patch the ceiling in our kitchen too. Quality work and gosh they are hard workers!"

"The first unit was delivered in a timely manner. However, the carrier did not adhere to the shippers warnings about product fragility and the unit was received in a damaged state. The unit was sent back to Classic Copperworks for repair.  The repair was treated as a priority by Mr. Threadgill, who had the unit shipped back to me in three weeks. It arrived in good condition that time. <br /> Mr Threadgill was very helpful in providing support in order to finish our project. He even had a caulking product sent to us in order to help with flashing the unit. That meant alot. <br /> I am not a professional contractor, but was able to install the unit myself with his support. However, my profession does provide me the opportunity to serve the public and as such, I feel that I am more than qualified in commenting on good service. While Classic Copperworks may not be the cheapest provider of goods and services, they stand behind their product and provide great support. It requiress a "leap of faith" to order an expensive unit from an out-of-state provider with no prior mutual history, but I can attest to my complete satisfaction. <br /> WRS <br /> <br />"

"It was a very non-pressured experience.  Joe is easy to work with and will work with you in any way you want.  <br /> We were very happy to be able to purchase our own products and have Joe install them.  It's exactly what we were looking for. <br />"

"They were very professional, helpful and responsive in answering questions and giving us a quote. In the end, we decided not to repair the countertop and sink but replace it entirely. as the previous owner installed it and it no longer fit our decor. Even though we didn't use them to make the repairs, we were very impressed with their customer service."

"After a bad experience with a contractor, I started getting bids from other contractors to build me a new (small) house. Don Hoerr and Sons was the best, most professional contractor in the area. When I met with Mark Hoerr, he not only described what his company could do for me, but also went over details, step-by-step about what other contractors SHOULD do for me if I didn't go with his company. I grabbed a notepad and took notes as quickly as I could. He was basically educating me about how to build a home. For example, After excavating for the basement, to protect a homeowner's basement from getting wet later, contractors are required to wrap the foundation in plastic and pour one foot of pea gravel around the sides to protect the foundation from the clay-ish soil. If contractors didn't do that (or don't do it right), later on, the homeowner has to get a dehumidifier and de-watering system (which is prone to growing mold) and may even have to have the soil around their basement dug out again to redo this important work. Don Hoerr and Sons doesn't put one foot of pea gravel around the base before they backfill it. They put five feet of 5/8and quot; or 1and quot; rock around it. Because pea gravel can get crushed down, the larger rock protects the home for decades longer. I've now purchased and read Amy Johnston's book, <em>What Your Contractor Can't Tell You: The Essential Guide to Building and Renovating,</em> but I have to say that seeing Mark Hoerr was an education in itself. Although his bid was too high and I ended up going to another contractor who quoted in the middle, meeting with this company changed the way I think about new home construction. I have vowed that if I ever get a chance to use them in the future, I will. Oh, and by the way, every other contractor (and every vendor I talked to) said that Don Hoerr and Sons are the BEST builders in the area. Don't bother with P and W. A couple I know used them. They talked big about how they built homes one stick at a time... then when they signed a contract, the big wigs (like Dave) left them with the *worst* subcontractors in the area. Their stairs are crooked--and that's just something that show!! If you have a few dollars, go with Don Hoerr and Sons. Best contractors in the area for remodels or new builds. <br />"
