Then he says he never said things he definitely did. The contract says to reframe my deck and he will say things like Reframe does not mean reframe. We got ripped off. Not worth the money. Now a lot of money later, we have to hire someone else to complete the job. You will get scammed."

Gabriel didn't keep his schedule and showed up without notification multiple times even on the weekends. He would show up at 5 pm or later, work and hour and leave. He doesn't actually measure during planning, so what he originally quoted as a 9 zone sprinkler system ended up being 11 zones to cover my entire yard. He did add an additional zone at no additional cost, which was nice. If you want cheap, Gabriel is a good choice. If you want good or fast, I would go with someone else."

"Alex Blaker and his team were referred to me by ADU small home sales person in Austin Tx. My project was creating additional barrier walls in a home for the PadSplit app. We had to add 3 electrical outlets, as well as connect a clothes washer that required all lines electrical and water to be ran. Alex was cordial, easy to work with and genuinely cares about the work and level of craftsmanship that goes into the project. You will meet Dario and others on his team who are incredibly polite, clean, and efficient. Project was completed in a little over a week. Budget: initial bid around $7800 + taxes, two owner approved add ons elevated the project around $600. (Plug relocation, and dryer vent routing) Payment was made in 3 payments over the life of the project. I like this as it lets you see the project be started first. Alex kept me in the loop every day and came over in person to inspect, and recommend updates to the job. Happy to work with Alex and his team and look forward to working with them on future projects!"

Garage remodelings FAQs
Converting a garage is worth it because it can significantly increase your home's value while providing additional living space for your family or guests. A garage conversion can take between two and six weeks for the construction work, depending on the size and complexity of the project. In most cases, you do not need to hire an architect for a garage conversion. An experienced garage conversion contractor usually has the skills to help create your desired design and ensure the project meets building codes. However, if your conversion involves complex structural changes or a large-scale redesign, hiring an architect can be beneficial. An architect can provide detailed plans and oversee the design to maximize space and functionality, ensuring the conversion aligns with your vision and complies with all regulations.
