"Rafael, his Dad and the rest of the crew were professional, fun to work with and got the job done quickly. The estimate for the work was well priced. I am using them again for my hard scape garden design."

"When we first approached Stevie with the work we needed done and showed him the space that we needed landscaped - he quickly had a clear vision for it. It was his vision that made us so comfortable and quick to give him the job. They continue to maintain the work that they did and to this day the landscaping looks like it did the day the job was completed. The team at Low H2O has been great! They are friendly with our staff members and clients coming in. I will say that they always do a little bit more than is expected of them when doing our maintenance and it is greatly appreciated. With our experience with Low H2O I would trust them with a project any size. You're in good hands. "

"Jose Zamora does excellent work and thus is much in demand. He had a three month backlog when I contacted him to quote the job. Now I understand the backlog is about 4 months. He runs a very professional operation and will send you a detailed contract to sign, along with his quote. He bid our work at about $10,000, which was comparable with the other quotes we received. I went with him because of the excellent recommendation he had on Angie's List and Yelp. Once he started, he and his helper put in full days and completed the job on time. Very hard working guys and excellent craftsmen."

"He is an excellent gardener, the best one I have found, and I have been through a number of them. He is very dependable, very conscientious. He seems to keep his staff pretty well; a lot of them have turnover. He is available if you call him; suppose you have a broken sprinkler on the weekend, you call him and he will come out and take care of it. His prices are reasonable. He is very good."

"We got a quote from somebody else first and they were more reasonable. The fence still looks great. They're mainly a couple, husband and wife, and they're very nice people. I'm not sure about their reliability in terms of calling back, they're not so good at that, but they did an excellent job and we paid what they quoted us. When we did have an issue with the gate, they did come back but like I said, they're not always the best they can get really busy to call me back but they always do eventually call me back. I think they did an excellent job on the landscape job. They were so much reasonable than the other company, it was just a fraction of what they quoted was so we were pleased. The quality was very good. I think they were very professional."

FAQs for lawn and garden sprinkler system installation projects in San Miguel, CA

While drip irrigation systems have higher upfront costs, they can save you money in the long run. By delivering water directly into the soil with minimal evaporation and runoff, drip irrigation systems conserve water and improve efficiency. This means better performance and results for your landscaping, and cost savings over the system's lifespan.

Yes, irrigation systems can add value to your home, especially when installed with high-quality materials and a solid design. A well-irrigated landscape enhances curb appeal and can attract potential buyers. However, poor design or installation may reduce performance and even decrease your property's value. Hiring an expert for installation and performing regular maintenance is key to securing the long-term benefits.

A local irrigation professional can help you check your drip irrigation system to make sure it's in good shape. You'll want to make sure the water pressure is in a good range, repair any leaks as soon as possible, and cover the cost to winterize your sprinkler system as recommended by your irrigation contractor.

A drip irrigation system lasts between 10 and 15 years. This lifespan is determined by the quality of materials, the precision of installation, and regular professional maintenance. Unlike traditional sprinkler systems that can last up to 50 years, the thinner piping used in drip systems is more sensitive to UV exposure and environmental wear. Proper upkeep and timely repairs enhance durability and ensure consistent irrigation performance.

Drip irrigation is best suited for plant beds, containers, greenhouses, and row crops. It supplies water directly to individual plants, ensuring precise moisture control where it is needed most. For areas with simple layouts, above-ground systems work efficiently, while subsurface installations may be cost-prohibitive in spaces with extensive tree roots or irregular terrain. Proper planning maximizes the benefits of drip irrigation across a variety of applications.
