"Started with a Code 31 - pressure valve - ended with Paul discovering all the original contractor code and installation errors on a 5yr old furnace! We had to change out the too small 2” air intake / exhaust pipes. Paul had to work in an extremely confined space to replace the pipes with a 3” intake/exhaust pipe with minimum impact to finished ceiling and exterior walls. All work was in compliance with a City permit he obtained. In the process, he found the furnace circuit board had a factory “bulletin” that required replacement (covered by warranty). In the end, all work areas were repaired, painted, and cleaned up. He also discovered and repaired a poorly connected exhaust pipe on our tankless hot water heater that would have been a future problem. Paul and his crew did a fantastic job, worked long hours to meet our tight schedule, resolving many difficult complex problems along the way. Very detailed oriented - great value of services provided."

Got several quotes from other business's and Bruce came in lower with larger units and installed where I wanted. All others wanted to install on roof (much less work) and one smaller unit due to more work to install.

He explained all work to be done and started when he said. Crew was Armando & Luis, two excellent workers with plenty of

experience & knowledge. While Armando removed old heaters, Luis was in the hot attic installing the line sets for the new

coolers. They then installed the new heaters and both installed the outside coolers. After each work day they cleaned up

real good. Both knew their stuff as they've been with Bruce quite awhile. Bruce came and checked all work and when I

needed to talk he was always available. Bruce even brought in a crane to remover old swamp coolers when others said

they would just hand carry them or throw them down. Safety came first with Bruce.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
