"First project: I am very pleased with Repairs & Remodels On Demand (RROD). I was in the process of selling a property that was about 75 years old. The buyer's mortgage company had sent an inspector who noted several issues. Obviously I was under time pressure. RROD responded very quickly. I needed a hearth built in front of an existing fireplace. RROD advised me on what the current code requirements were. I selected material and the hearth was installed the next day. The inspector also reported six electrical issues, four plumbing issues in the kitchen and four in the bathroom. RROD repaired them all in two days. RROD sent a three man team. The timeline for the project was: Day 1, evaluate job and create estimate; Day 2, install hearth, correct electrical issues and begin plumbing work; Day 3, complete plumbing. On the fourth day I notified the buyer's agent to schedule the re-inspection; the inspection passed with no problems. Sale completed. Second project: In a rental property I own, a tenant wanted a laundry area. I had had the area plumbed but the walls had been opened to accomplish the plumbing. I needed the walls closed up, a short wall built, and the appliances installed. First day, evaluate job and create estimate. Two days later start and complete the job in two additional days. On the day after the completion, the tenant reported a problem with a door that had been installed. I went over and checked and she was correct. It was in mid-afternoon and I called RROD and reported the problem. They immediately scheduled an appointment for 8:00 AM the next morning (and repaired it on that visit). It was a small job with a small problem. The work looked very professional and the paint for the new areas matched the existing room colors. The point is, they do high quality work and they really do stand behind their work. I shall certainly use them again. I am very satisfied with their responsiveness and the high quality of work. "Thank you to Julio Valle from John Padilla Plumbing, Inc. After I had a lukewarm shower, I called Padilla Plumbing based on their 5 star reviews on various platforms. They had an opening the next afternoon. The gentleman on the phone gave me an estimate for replacing the water heater if that was necessary & told me their service charge would go toward any repair that they did for me. The next day, a gentleman called to say the plumber was running late & would miss the time window. What would I like to do? I opted to have the plumber come the same day if he could do it in the daylight. Julio arrived about 20 minutes later! Yay!! Julio was very professional & courteous. He tested the in-house faucets (upstairs & down) for water temperature. Then we went down to the water heater in the garage. He adjusted the temp on one of the heating elements as it was much lower than the other one. Again, he tested water temps upstairs & the water was already warmer!! This seems to be a well-run, responsive plumbing company that I will call again when needed. Highly recommend."

They want $2,200 to refill and re-pressurize the line. Since they cross-threaded the screw that led to the leak during installation, this should be covered under the "Lifetime Craftsmanship" guarantee. Instead, they're trying to charging me a full day of labor to fix their mistake. Support on this issue has been dismal. It's been 16 days since they first diagnosed the problem and I still don't have a timeline for when this will get fixed. I chose Carini because of their warranties and their service record, but its all smoke and mirrors. You've been warned."

"In August 2024, my husband and I decided to replace all of our interior furnishings. We originally started our project by working with the “designers” in the stores where we were making major purchases. It took us over 8 months to realize what a BIG MISTAKE that was. Long story short, we called Christian in April 2025. Christian came to our home and talked with us to understand the scope of the project. We wanted to redecorate the family, dining, and living rooms. Christian spent time getting to know us, asking us what we do for fun, and how we live our lives. He gleaned from us that we are adventurous travelers, with a love of the outdoors; he noticed my husband is into music and has a love of classic rock musician hard-cover biography books; he noticed that we both are somewhat minimalistic and that we prefer an orderly space. Christian’s tireless energy over the next 4 months produced recommendations for sofas, artwork, accessories, lighting, area rugs, coffee, end, and drink tables – you name it, Christian thought of it! We needed it all. His recommendations fit not only our lifestyle and our aesthetic preferences, but our personalities. Case in point, during our travels over the years, we’ve taken many photos of the places we’ve been. But these photos lived in our phones – where they weren’t being appreciated. Christian had the brilliant idea to showcase the photos on the wall in the dining room using MixTiles; he also suggested making two huge pieces of wall art for both our entryway and our living room. The result is nothing short of amazing. Christian also brought his crews in for electrical work and some painting. They were friendly, professional, speedy, and very clean. Christian was simply a joy to work with and he made our house not only beautiful, but comfortable, functional, and SO US! He was always available for a visit when a piece of furniture arrived, was always honest with his opinion, and always included my husband. Christian turned what was originally a very frustrating project into a wonderful experience and we are thrilled with the end result. "In August 2024, my husband and I decided to replace all of our interior furnishings. We originally started our project by working with the “designers” in the stores where we were making major purchases. It took us over 8 months to realize what a BIG MISTAKE that was. Long story short, we called Christian in April 2025. Christian came to our home and talked with us to understand the scope of the project. We wanted to redecorate the family, dining, and living rooms. Christian spent time getting to know us, asking us what we do for fun, and how we live our lives. He gleaned from us that we are adventurous travelers, with a love of the outdoors; he noticed my husband is into music and has a love of classic rock musician hard-cover biography books; he noticed that we both are somewhat minimalistic and that we prefer an orderly space. Christian’s tireless energy over the next 4 months produced recommendations for sofas, artwork, accessories, lighting, area rugs, coffee, end, and drink tables – you name it, Christian thought of it! We needed it all. His recommendations fit not only our lifestyle and our aesthetic preferences, but our personalities. Case in point, during our travels over the years, we’ve taken many photos of the places we’ve been. But these photos lived in our phones – where they weren’t being appreciated. Christian had the brilliant idea to showcase the photos on the wall in the dining room using MixTiles; he also suggested making two huge pieces of wall art for both our entryway and our living room. The result is nothing short of amazing. Christian also brought his crews in for electrical work and some painting. They were friendly, professional, speedy, and very clean. Christian was simply a joy to work with and he made our house not only beautiful, but comfortable, functional, and SO US! He was always available for a visit when a piece of furniture arrived, was always honest with his opinion, and always included my husband. Christian turned what was originally a very frustrating project into a wonderful experience and we are thrilled with the end result.
