"All calls and emails were returned quickly and professionally. I could not have asked for faster response times for calls, quotes, etc.. Donna couldn't have been more accommodating. She was right on time, courteous, and professional. If I were to base this review on these factors alone, I would recommend them without question or concern. They've been a vendor of an interior design team that I deal with from time to time who also trust their work and professionalism so I also trust their quality of work. I own 3 homes and a rental property and built or renovated them all. Never have I received this high level or service from a tile and stone vendor. Unfortunately, never have I encountered this level of pricing either. The quoted cost of materials (tile) was almost 75% above retail. Through the same retailer, I can walk in off the street and pay 75% less and if I am a contractor, I'll expect to pay 20% below retail. Additionally, the labor cost quoted was 50% higher than the next highest quote received (I received 4 quotes). I will state once again, none of the 3 other quotes were from companies as professional, punctual, or courteous as DUCA. I recognize the value in that service level and accept that a price premium may go along with it. But not a price premium to the degree that they were asking for. Ultimately I ended up paying 20% below retail for the tile and 40% less for the install. It wasn't as convenient but the savings was so significant, it was worth my trouble. <br />"

We were having a new sink installed and did not think that the granite would need to be cut larger - after the plumber got there and took my old sink out, we discovered the new sink would not fit - I called Great Lakes and they came out that afternoon! (which I really appreciated since I would have had to go without a kitchen sink until they were able to come out!) This company is awesome to work with! <br />"

"Randy did an amazing job! Our basement was partially finished. We wanted the drop ceiling removed, walls studded and dry walled, create a full bathroom and closet. This space would become our master bedroom and ensuite. Time wasn't an issue for us but was completed in a satisfactory time frame. The area under reno was kept very clean each day, when we would come home to check out the progress. The master bedroom was framed (over the styrofoam insulation and existing drywall from the 60's) and the entire room got new drywall. Drop ceiling removed and drywall ceiling with can lights replaced it. New bathroom area was plumbed and created to our own design, including a water closet. All new trim throughout. New vinyl plank flooring installed in the bathroom, closet and laundry. Our new space looked amazing when complete and we couldn't be happier! We unfortunately had some water damage shortly after and Randy came back out to do some touch up work for us. We would definitely recommend!! Price was also extremely reasonable!"

"When I contacted Rockwood Construction based on previous AL reviews, Dave was quick to schedule an appointment to review our needs and gather information for an estimate. Initially we considered remodeling both kitchen and bath, but decided to start with the kitchen first. The estimate from Dave was itemized and easy to understand. Rockwood came in on budget and completed the work in a very timely fashion. They offered a creative solution for our bench and even came back to redo it when we were not satisfied with the width of the seat. I have no complaints with Rockwood and would recommend them to my Mother! As a matter of fact, I need to call Dave back to give me an estimate to finish our basement this winter."

"It went well. I wish I would have picked a different choice, I like both the backsplash and the countertop a lot I just don't think they make a great WOW when you see them together. We didn't shop around so I don't know if the price is good or not. They were easy to work with."

"Overall the process went well. There were some hichupps along the way due to the complexity of the counter top, the extra pass through shelf, the support spindles, and stained glass between the spindle supports. The only problem was we were not informed fully that we needed to make sure the provider of the spindles received a detailed drawing of the spindle layout so the counter top could be drilled correctly. Fortunately Top of the World was able to supply this drawing at the last minute and everything was completed professinally. I think Top of World felt somewhat frustrated with us, but this is the first time we attempted such a project and were relying upon them for guidance. After a bit of frustration on each side, the final project was stellar and that is the most important par tof hte poroject. Thank you to Top of the World for working on this project."

"From start to finish it was great. We set it all up with Jeff Johnson at the HWC offices which was a very pleasant experience. We felt we were quoted a very fair price for the amount of work we needed done. Although a number of workmen were involved in this 2 1/2 week project, Tom P. oversaw it all as Project Manager and his 2 main guys (Jeff and Jerry) did an outstanding job and were very courteous and pleasant to talk with. The work was completed on schedule and any little fixes were done quickly. The workmanship and quality were excellent, the workers were very careful to protect the rest of our home from dirt and dust, and my wife and I are very happy with the results. We would highly recommend HWC. <br />"
