"We were undecided on which items we wanted to upgrade around our house. When the owner, Paul, came out to provide an estimate we walked through different ideas. When he provided the quote it was broken out by project and was very detailed. This made selecting what we wanted to have done much easier. He also gave us sound feedback on different materials we were considering using. We had Yourson install wood look porcelain plank tiles, gut our powder room, gut the master shower, replace toilets, paint, rebuild a section of wall that was very damaged, and repair crown molding that was installed poorly by the previous owner. We provided all the materials with the exception of a custom shower door. The crew that worked on our home was extremely capable, and showed up when expected. They were pleasant to have around and respectful as well. Their workmanship was excellent. Any problems or miscommunication we encountered was handled and resolved professionally. "After obtaining a few bids we hired Tom Armijo's company, Brush Up Painting. We had several areas of drywall repair needed and used two colors in four different rooms. We also had a very high stairwell to get painted. <br />   Tom's crew arrived each day exactly when they said they would which we appreciated. They were all courteous, and careful in moving furniture. They were especially gentle with an antique piece that holds significant memories for my wife. They kept their work areas clean as they went and put everything back together when moving on to the next area. <br />    I especially appreciated that Tom's bid was thorough with  no ambiguity regarding things like how many coats were included. Another company gave me a bid without this info. When I asked about it I was told that they guaranteed complete coverage no matter how many coats. Well, complete coverage according to whom? I feared they'd put one coat on and call it good while I felt the color richness wasn't obtained. Seemed like a potential argument to me. Brush Up on the other hand was very clear about everything pertaining to the job. <br />    To summarize....I highly recommend using Brush Up Painting! Their bid was very competitive on price and the work was above average. A pleasure to work with! I will be calling Tom for any future painting needs. <br />"
