"Very sloppy work. As soon as they left, we had to remove the backsplash they installed because it was so bad. They got stains on the quartz countertops they installed from the water they were cleaning the grout with. Our kitchen was a wreck when they left. To follow up, they did come back and fix all the mistakes that were originally made."

"I've used them twice, both times for bathroom renovations. They were able to give me a great price on remnant inventory since my projects didn't require a full slab. both times they came to measure and install within a week."

"They did the demo and then installed the new countertops perfectly.  Super prompt!  They are very careful to keep any messiness to a minimum and cleaned up completely.  They performed the job on time and very quickly after the service was contracted.  Extremely polite staff, both in the office and the installation staff.  Special shout out to Jorge and Marsela.

"Laminate was destroyed by a slab leak, we got 3 bids to replace flooring on our entire first floor. Floors 4 Less was not only the best for selection and price, but schedule was by far the best, they started work 2 days after contract was signed. The install was seamless, they showed up on time, kept the work site clean and completed the entire first floor rip out and install in 3 days...including putting the baseboards and shoe molding back. Beautiful. At the initial walk through we also received good advice about how to make the install most cost effective. Truly a great experience. Call them today if you need new flooring!"

"First off the job is done, mostly. Still have to fill in some voids in the grout but I won't let this company back in my house. Scheduling - absolutely terrible. Workers were rarely on time. After a major install issue did not coordinate a new day to show up. Just decided they would show up to the house without any precoordination. Very unprofessional. Price - reasonable. Quality - very average. The first tile install was a mess. Not level in any plane, just a mess. Randy agreed and took the first install down to redo. But then the tile wasn't available. Plumber they brought, though a "master" plumber did not have the tools required to complete the potfiller relocation. Not necessarily the plumbers fault as we were installing in a stainless steel panel over drywall. But, Roma should have provided the required tools to get the job done. Luckily I took the day off and did quite a bit of the work. Realized after he shut the wall the plumbing was not leak checked."

FAQs for stone slab countertops installation (granite, marble, quartz, etc) projects in Sanger, TX

Soapstone countertops are durable, environmentally friendly, easy to maintain, non-porous, heat-resistant, and naturally antibacterial. They resist stains and cracks, making them a practical and long-lasting choice. However, soapstone has limited color options and can have visible seams in larger installations. It may also scratch or chip if not handled carefully and tends to have a higher initial cost than other materials. Overall, if you're looking for a functional and aesthetically pleasing countertop, soapstone is a solid choice despite these minor drawbacks.

Soapstone countertops typically come in light to dark gray, often with blue or green undertones. One of the unique features of soapstone is that it deepens in color over time, developing a rich patina that adds to its charm. Each slab is unique, with natural streaks and veining that become more pronounced as the countertop ages, giving your kitchen or bathroom a dynamic and evolving look.

With proper care, soapstone countertops can last 50 years or more. Regular cleaning with mild detergents and occasional applications of mineral oil to enhance the natural patina will keep your countertops looking beautiful. Thanks to its durable nature, soapstone stands up well for daily use, making it a wise long-term investment for your home.

Sealing isn't necessary for soapstone countertops. Soapstone is naturally non-porous and antibacterial, resists stains, and doesn't harbor bacteria. While you don't need to seal it, applying mineral oil occasionally can enhance its natural beauty and help develop a rich patina over time. This simple maintenance keeps your countertop looking its best for years to come.
