"I was a little nervous about ordering windows on the internet using measurements I'd taken myself, but I loved the design on the website so, initially I only ordered 2 windows to check the quality, my ability to measure accurately and the company's ability to build to my measurements. Jeff, the salesman I dealt with was attentive without being overwhelming and the first order was delivered in about 4 weeks. The windows were exactly what I was looking for and fitting them was a breeze. I followed up with another order for the remaining 13 windows in my porch and again, they arrived quickly, were of great quality, exactly to size and easy to fit. Looking forward to see how they last their first winter."

"John and Chris are the best subs that my partner and I have ever worked with. They do not cut corners and won't leave something that does not have a quality look. They recently installed laminate flooring in our whole house, minus the bathrooms. Their sales woman was patient with us as we went back by their shop 3 times to sample different floor types. While they were working on it we let John know we were interested in redesigning our master bathroom and he already had ideas for us as well. They finished up the floor and it looks great. Have gotten a lot of compliments on it already. John and Chris were able to get started on the bathroom right away once the floors were done and got to a good stopping point. It took us a while to get our plumbing and drywall finished but once those were done they came back out and finished the job up quickly. It looks amazing and they did top quality work. My girlfriend loves the bathroom and spends a lot of time in it! We will be recommending East Mountain Flooring to our friends and family and will use them again when we decide to redo our guest bathroom."

"Yesterday afternoon we noticed that the hot water pressure relief valve was leaking some hot water out onto our side yard. Called Joe and he said he would pick up the part and install it on Sunday (Easter...Today). We checked it later and the leak had intensified to fill our bucket every half hour. Called Joe again and he said he would come over and plug the valve outlet that night and again would pick up and install  the pressure relief valve on Sunday. He showed up quickly with a plug device and sealed the outlet. The following morning he showed up and installed the valve. He then graciously answered several of my unrelated problems/ questions and gave some great advice. <br /> <br /> It's always a pleasure to deal with Joe. I feel very comfortable with his expertise and professionalism. He is always accessible and shows up as promised with the parts needed."

"If you go with Reliant Capitol expect to get a form of Jekyll and Hyde performance from them.  <br /> <ul> <li>Perhaps the most important thing is the quality of their windows and installation.  With this there are no complaints, the quality of the windows and installation are outstanding.  They truly are excellent windows built for the NM climate.  We've had them for a few months now and they do indeed make a big difference.  The installation went quickly, professionally with no messes left behind.  </li> </ul> <p>But not far behind the actual product is customer service which is where Reliant Capitol leaves a lot to be desired.  The sales pitch is lengthy (over 2 hours) and not very fulfilling.  Worse, once the sale is made the salesman drops you like a bad habit forcing you to work with the office in Phoenix who don't care anything about you.  When they did install the windows they didn't obscure the glass in our bathroom so it needed to be replaced.  Again, not one person took ownership of this problem in the company and only after 6 or 7 calls by us to the Phoenix office did we get it resolved.  There literally isn't any "customer service", you only talk with installers and schedulers.  There also wasn't any apologies or regret on their end, never mind it took over 2 months to get the wrong window replaced.  <br /> I love the windows, they are great.  But I won't go back to them because I can't trust them to do things right.  </p> <br />"

FAQs for sunroom or patio enclosure building service projects in Santa Cruz, NM

A sunroom is a fully enclosed space with walls of windows or glass. It allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the comfort of the indoors, protected from bugs and weather. It functions as an additional room in your home. A covered patio extends your home's roof over an outdoor area, providing shade and shelter while remaining open to the fresh air. It's a great way to enjoy outdoor living while being protected from sun and rain.

Adding screens to your porch is the most budget-friendly way to enclose it. Screening keeps out insects and debris while letting you enjoy the breeze and outdoor ambiance. It's less expensive than installing full walls or glass enclosures and doesn't usually require permits, making it an efficient way to upgrade your porch.

If you're transforming your porch into a fully enclosed living space like a sunroom, you'll likely need a sturdy foundation, such as a reinforced concrete slab, to support the structure. For a simple screened-in porch, you might be able to use the existing floor and support posts without additional foundation work. It's best to consult a professional to determine what's needed for your project.

An enclosed porch can be considered a living space if it's fully enclosed with solid walls and windows, has a proper roof, and includes heating and cooling systems. It should also have direct access from inside your home. When these criteria are met, the space becomes an extension of your home's livable area.
