They did an excellent job replacing rotten wood with Hardie planks and provided helpful recommendations to correct repairs left by a previous contractor's poor workmanship. "After the initial consultation they forgot to send me the estimate until I requested it. We had discussed adding two new bathroom vents and we were told it wasn't a problem. They were the cheapest bid for the same materials as all the other companies we had spoken with, so we set a date to start the work. On the day of the install no one showed up and I received a call a few hours later stating they didn't have a crew and we rescheduled it for a few days later. Again, no one showed up. We rescheduled it a final time and someone finally came to do the install. The crew that came did a good job with the install but the clean-up with the magnetic sweeper was not great. There were nails, roof tiles, and debris that was not hard to see and was left for us to clean. They completed the job rather late and I noticed the next morning that the bathroom vents had not been cut out like discussed. I called and was told that because I never told them where to put the holes they couldn't do it. I was not aware I was responsible for letting them know where to cut the holes. I was also home all day and no one came to ask me where to cut the holes. They offered to come and cut the holes after they were finished but after taking off three days from work already and the roof was complete I did not want them to tear it up. I got a new roof but I would rather pay more money to have a company that is more responsible and respectful to the customer and their time."

"Adam A came on Saturday to quote the job for a replacement of roofs on house and storage shed Saturday Feb. 21, 2026 and due to them having a crew in town the next day, they started on Sunday the next day! Crews showed up to remove old roof then found bad/weak boards so they spent rest of the day replacing all of those. On Monday they came and did all of the shingles and Ridge row and completed the roof on the house! On Tuesday morning. One person came back and did the roof on the storage shed. Everyone was professional polite, and worked well and the roofs look wonderfu! We are very happy with the job that Newhaus Roofing & Construction Inc did and the communication and experience that we had witht hem!
