"I called to set up an appointment for redesigning our backyard.  He came to our house at the scheduled time exactly.  He is a remarkably kind and gentle person.  My wife and I had a general idea of what we wanted, but we were pretty flexible and open to new ideas.  After an initial conversation about what we were looking for, he went to the backyard and spent a while back there.  Afterwards, he came inside and went over the entire plan with us with drawn out plans.  He designed the entire project with a lot of detail, with some great ideas, both big and small, that we never would have though of ourselves.  The amount of detail he gave was incredible given the amount of time he spent on it (a total of 3 hours).  He even laid out where to put specific plants, landscape lights, etc.  He gave input on colors and styles.  Looking at the final product, now that it is completed, it looks better than we ever imagined it would.  We've gotten a lot of great comments, including one saying how well thought out the project was.  A lot of that credit goes to Andy. <br />"

"The electrician arrived a bit early, and was fast, clean, and efficient doing the installations. He cleaned up after himself, and showed me how to replace the light bulbs in the new light fixtures. The finished work looks great. This is a very old house and he really respected the spirit of the place (which hasn't always been the case with workmen here.) "Sunshine builders planned and designed our outdoor living space and executed it after we approved all the changed and modifications so it will fit exactly to what we wanted to have. At first, we honestly didn’t think that we can get all what we wanted under our budget because it was just too many things in one project. The project that we wanted to do, included a 2 levels patio with space for full BBQ with dining area, sink, refrigerator, counter top and a large stone fire pit with seating area. More than that, we added some plantings spots by building a plats pots, a new grass area, LED solar lighting fixtures, a new driveway and more things. We’ve met and interviewed many contractors and home improvement companies and landscapers over the last few months and none of them was able to compete to Eric’s experience, quality and promise to ensure their work with our expectations. "I have been trying, unsuccessfully, to install a motion light onto an older, rectangular junction box. After many trips to the hardware store, I finally threw in the towel and turned to Angie's List where I stumbled across Nick at The Electric Connection. Not only did he understand my issue right away, but within 5 minutes he emailed me a link to the part I needed and told me exactly how to install it. Free advice?!? Wow!!!! "Journey man electricians, no subcontractors, high standards for customer service. The Owner Josh will personally see to it that you are not just satisfied but happy with his companies work. Peace of Mind just finished installing battery backup for the Solar Panels they installed five years ago. I will not write the same things that most people have already written. There are plenty of people that sing praises regarding this business. Read those reviews and believe them! I will qualify myself by stating that I have a background teaching Vocational Education that has enabled me to do my own work during my life time. But, at my age I look for knowledgeable people that are quality oriented and honest. This is what you get at Peace of Mind Electrical and Solar. Since I have been hiring help, I want a Licensed Contractor. I am retired and have the time to research and vet who I hire. From Josh at Peace of Mind Electric, I got the best price with better panels. Several years ago, I watched his team install solar on the house just below mine. What I saw was a very professional group of young men that knew what needed to be done and did it. The job was 40 panels split between the house and patio roof. House roof panels were flat but the patio installation had to be angle-mounted in order to get the most from the sun. I was impressed and asked for a card. He said, "Call the boss last he will beat anyone." He was right--a better price with high-end Panasonic panels. If you want journeymen electricians that truly like working together, call Josh at Peace of Mind Electric. He can beat the others for two reasons; he keeps his profit margin lower in order to keep his crew busy and he isn't paying the thousands of dollars for the advertising you hear on the radio.
