"This is our 4th job with BG Construction. BG's owner, Joseph Giram, is hands on. He designed our new bathroom with great patience, meeting all our needs. While he has a full crew of professionals, he has supervised this job, as all our jobs, himself. On this remodel, which was very complex and involved moving a wall to enlarge the bathroom, and creating a "wet room", Joseph was on site every day. The crews--demo, framing, plumbing, electrical, cabnets, tile, and finishing, were uniformly professional and excellent. He's always available either when I call, or very soon after if I leave a voicemail. We had a number of changes we wanted on the way, and Joseph always accommodated us. Because of the changes, it took a bit longer to finish than we planned for--three weeks and three days instead of three weeks--but we've worked with other contractors that took weeks or months longer than estimated--not Joseph. BG Construction isn't cheap, but neither is it exhorbitant, particularly for what you get: full service, reliable, professional, quality work. We've always been thrilled with our beautiful new rooms, as we are with this new bathroom. You can't go wrong with this company."

"We used them to paint the interior of the house a few years ago, and they did an excellent job. When the exterior needed painting, I called them again without hesitation. Edwin was on time for the appointment. I explained what was needed, and showed him the areas of stucco that was leaking in the rain. He suggested sealing the cracks with silicone, and applying Thompsons Water Seal to the area as well. It took 4 days to paint the house and doors. The crew of 3 arrived every morning between 7:30 - 8:00, and left in the evenings after 5:00. They started by powerwashing the house, and worked on the high areas first. The yard was kept very clean, but a side gate was left open most evenings. Not a big deal, but I am glad I checked before letting the dogs out! Edwin suggested changing the color of the side door to the garage to the color of the home trim and rain gutters. I was hesitant, but went with his professional opinion. The color change on the door looks great! The home and trim is the same color as before (a light peach with brown trim). No problems with the work at all, and it has rained several times and no leaks!! I would definitely continue to use and recommend Juon Painting"

"The estimate was very thorough and every question I asked I was provided an in depth explanation. Their bid came in higher then others, but I really appreciated them taking the time to explain why they recommended certain work vs. the other solutions. They also back up their work with a 25 yr warranty. Throughout the whole process EJ was very responsive over email and anything that came up a representative from the office would come to site to check on the work. The men doing the work were always on site before starting time and worked hard. Carlos was very easy to talk to and made it a comfortable situation considering it was three + weeks with them directly underneath your feet, our house on stilts and not much space to work with. They were all very nice guys. All the work passed inspection. Towards the end I think the pressure to finish was on and there were some hiccups in the quality of the finished project, but EJ took good care of us and made sure everything was to our satisfaction in the end. I am very happy with the work and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs to get foundation work done."

"I've dealt with a number of contractors throughout the years and I must say Adam Othman is truly one of a kind. Adam only works on one job at a time and the quality of service really shows. I knew Adam was the right person for our project immediately after our very first phone call. He took his time to really understand my objectives. You immediately get the sense that Adam is unlike other contractors. He is extremely sensitive to the client's budget and goes beyond the call of duty to get the job done right and on budget. Our project involved a 1922 Spanish home with a very low tiled ceiling. The ceiling was extremely out of scale in relation to the size of the room and it was our objective to raise it as high as possible. Prior to our contract, Adam dedicated so much time surveying the attic on two separate occasions and helped us come up with a solution that didn't require any major structural modification to our existing roof. Adam is a very methodical thinker. You could literally see his mind coming up with solutions as he quietly studied the project. You know you are in good hands because of the questions he asks. He anticipates problems before they even happen and that really put us at ease. Our project time frame was 4 weeks. Adam started the project on time and finished EXACTLY on the week he promised. He is by far the most organized contractor I've ever dealt with. Workmanship was superb. The work area was always left clean and the framing he personally did on the ceiling was truly a work of art. Before the drywall went up, he and I joked that the framing was too beautiful to cover up. He did absolutely beautiful work. The drywall crew did an outstanding job skim coating the plaster walls and their workmanship was as superb as Adam's. He clearly hires the best sub contractors in the business. It was the most stress free experience we've had from any previous contractor and that is testament to the way Adam runs his business. The living room is now quickly becoming my favorite room in the house and I am grateful to Adam for putting all his heart into it. He is truly a wonderful contractor who I now consider a friend. I have absolutely no hesitation recommending him to anyone. He is truly the best!"

"Based on great reviews and proximity to my home in South Los Angeles, I hired Top Value to remodel my bathroom and kitchen, retaining some of the unique built-in aspects of my 100+ yr old Craftsman house while making the bathroom and kitchen more functional. They were able to do that, while staying on budget, and I love my new bathroom and kitchen now! Any issues that popped up during the process they were able to resolve, and cabinets were adjusted wonderfully to fit in the built-in spaces in the kitchen to maximize space and storage without having to tear out elements that were original to the house.
