"Last year Northland Fence installed a tan vinyl privacy fence for my 1 acre lot, replacing a rotted cedar fence that was falling down. I was really impressed by the post design as a means to anchor the fencing without future rotting issues, and it saved lots of installation time versus the older cement process. This was a huge fence, and they completed in two days of work, and the fence looks great! Fast forward one year later and strong winds this year have knocked over 6 x 30-foot trees from my neighbor's yard into my yard, damaging the fence in multiple places, bending posts and breaking side panels. Tim came by to perform the repair last week and the fence is completely restored to previous condition in about 2-3 hours of work. You could not tell that so much damage had occurred except for some cleaning that I need to do. While onsite, Tim also addressed some sag in installed fence doors with very well-built diagonal braces and adjusted the doors to being square. He was polite, professional, and delivered great results - represents the Northland Fence brand well. Strongly endorse the fence solutions from Northland. "We hired them to custom build a fence in our backyard, to match our neighbor's fence in design and style. When digging the post holes, they managed to break a piece of our house siding off. Furthermore, many post holes were dug on our neighbor's property (despite surveyor's stakes) and had to be removed and reinstalled. Things didn't get better as the project progressed. First, despite assuring us they would be able to match our neighbor's fence, the fence they built was a foot shorter and the custom design was very poorly executed. After negotiations, we ended up with a nice fence as long as you don't know it is supposed to match the neighbors. The office staff were always very pleasant and professional. "The installation of the fence went just fine. They gave us a two hour window to be home for installation and arrived and completed the installation on time. Training was more difficult to schedule conveniently because they were so busy, but we completed the lessons during week 2. Jennifer was a great trainer with good rapport and a lot of patience and enthusiasm working with our dog. My only complaint was the installer only had black collars and we have a black dog which would make it very difficult to verify collar on and off. Jennifer brought a much better selection and we were able to get a nice sturdy, bright pink collar for Bailey. "Shad had the fence built and installed within 10 days. He laid the posts and gave them time to dry thoroughly-checking daily to make sure they were setting properly. There is a place in the yard where water tends to pol and we were worried a post would never set properly. He came one day and dug a small channeled allowing the water to drain. <br /> He was hampered by snow, sleet and rain. Despite the ongoing wintery weather, he showed up when he could and worked through as the weather was just a "little" nuisance. The fence is beyond our expectations, and craftsmanship absolutely stunning.
