This was a very involved job, from the removal of damaged plaster ( more extensive than anticipated) , to replacing parts of the ceilings and walls, recovering old fireplaces, to ultimately the real art....the actual plastering. The team arrived on time and worked together seamlessly. They covered and protected furniture. They cleaned the rooms upon completion, as well as all 3 flights of stairs. I came to understand the meaning of master plastering. The new has blended and feathered with the old. The plaster swirls are beautiful making the rooms looking pristine, back to their original state. I couldn't be more pleased. The team of three were professional, courteous and personable. "Our old house on the Northside of Pittsburgh was in need of an exterior facelift and a new front porch to replace the one that had collapsed. I met with Dave LaBovick of Exceptional Exteriors and we agreed upon a price, which my wife and I found quite reasonable. The work on the vinyl siding began about a week later and took only a half a day to wrap up. The job was done to our complete satisfaction, The before and after is like night and day. Another crew arrived a few days later to do the porch and sidewalk. They began work on a Thursday afternoon and were finished 24 hours later. Once again, we are very happy with the result. In both cases, they removed all debris and left-over building materials associated with the job. We are not only completely satisfied with the work that Exceptional Exteriors did for us, we are looking forward to hiring them again for our next home project."

"I contacted five different painting contractors in the spring to get an estimate on painting my house. One never returned my call, three of them took almost two weeks to provide a bid, and Rick of Ultimate Custom Painting got back to me with an estimate within a day or two. Ultimate Custom Painting had painted a large brick house in our neighborhood last year and I thought it looked very well-done. I contacted the people who owned the house and they highly recommended Rick and his crew.

The job of painting my house was supposed to be done at the end of June. This past spring, we had almost six weeks of heavy rain, which delayed the start of the job. Throughout the spring, Rick kept in touch with me to keep me updated as to when he thought they would be able to start painting my house. Although the work wasn't done until August, these circumstances were completely out of Rick's control and I appreciate the fact that he kept me updated as to his schedule throughout the summer.

They did an excellent job of painting my house. The job was somewhat complicated in that I chose three colors; one for the main part of the house, one for the trim and one as an accent color. The crew was polite, on time every day, and cleaned up after they were done. They were also very patient with me as I changed my mind about one of the colors, and also asked them to paint the accent color on very specific parts of the trim. They accommodated my every request.

The day after the job was finished, Rick made a follow-up call to me to ensure that I was satisfied with the work they had done. He is a true professional and I would definitely hire Ultimate Custom Painting again for any future painting jobs."
