"To be fare 7 years ago I hired KD Pro to replace and paint all interior doors in my house. At the time - the job deserved 5 stars. It was done right and without delays. My 2 stars review is now based on the fact that I tried to contract his service once again for a diferent project and Mr. Karl Dunn seems to be a diferent person. "I?m sharing my experience with Dave?s Fence in DeLand after seeing comments that they don?t care about customers after installation. That has not been my experience at all. After strong winds damaged my fence, I reached out and sent photos. The repair needed more than a simple adjustment, and they could have easily pushed for a much more expensive fix or even a partial reinstall. Instead, they were honest, responsive, and fair. They only charged a small service fee and are taking the time to properly repair everything so the fence is fully restored?not just patched. That level of integrity and follow-through says a lot. "We needed a fence installed where we had 6 foot tall shrubs. Johnathan's crew showed up on time and had the shrubs removed in no time. The framework of the fence was done by lunchtime and the pickets were up by three o'clock. Awesome work. This is our second time hiring his company. "We contracted with Viking in July 2024 to install 200 feet of upscale fencing along one side of our property. The work was scheduled for August 2024. The installers arrived on the agreed date and time. Within two weeks the fence began to fail. Viking will say that this is due to: 1)Hurricane damage; and, 2)Poor materials. Neither of these claims is true. The fence was installed one month prior to hurricane Helene and upon further investigation several of the posts were installed too far apart compromising the integrity of the fence. Furthermore, the installers did not follow the manufacturer's installation instructions. Viking attempted to repair the fence a couple of times; however, the fence continued to fail. After four months Viking informed us that they will not honor their one-year warranty on installation and workmanship and that we were left to our own devices to obtain the necessary materials and engage a contractor to repair the fence - forking our even more money that this expensive fence cost us. Viking was washing their hands of the project which clearly suffered from a sub-standard installation - frankly, we are left with a mess. We have never been treated so dismissively, unprofessionally and dishonestly by a contractor."
