"A+ review for William and the KeyPrime team! About a year ago, we purchased a historic house that was in need of several major repairs. The roof was over 20 years old and had not been done properly before, which had caused the wood soffits, eves, and fascias to rot. Squirrels and bats had started getting in through the rotted wood, and the gutters were falling off the house. We interviewed a lot of companies and received numerous bids. It was a complex project, and we wanted it done well + affordably (a difficult combination to achieve). We also needed all the work to conform to the historic register requirements and be approved by the historic preservation committee. When William came out and discussed the project, we were immediately impressed. He demonstrated a deep understanding of the intricacies that the project would involve, and was able to explain things to us simply and clearly. He was patient and took the time to answer all our questions, so that we understood all our options and felt comfortable with the proposal. He also helped us to make informed decisions about where to cut costs in order to keep the project within our budget, as well as where it was worth it to spend the money and not cut corners. The project itself went very smoothly. Everyone on the team was friendly, and they worked very efficiently. A few times when questions or concerns came up, I called William and they were addressed immediately. One of our big worries when we started the project was that a company was going to come in with a low bid and then raise the price with “surprises” once the project started. William was very up front with the pricing, and let us know what would happen if they uncovered anything unexpected after the roof was opened up. Thankfully, no surprises were found, and we were billed the exact amount that we were initially quoted! A few small unexpected things even came up during the project that they could have easily “nickel and dimed” us for, but they just took care of them without any additional charges. The new roof, soffits, eves, fascia, and gutters that KeyPrime installed look great, and we are extremely happy! They did a great job restoring the beauty to our historic house. Our experience with KeyPrime was exceptional from start to finish, and we look forward to working with them again on future projects."

"Chase from Excel Renovation was great to work with regarding our residential garage roof leak. He was very personable and there was excellent/ professional communication in talking through the potential issue and then scheduling a time to meet. Chase ended up starting with a simpler repair approach first, re-fastening and re-sealing a roof flashing, which we agreed was the right thing to do for our type of roof leak (very small leak) and for this cold time of year (late Nov). He was very honest in what he thought was the likely issue and digging deeper right away in our case, instead of just resealing and testing first, may cause more harm than good. He would not take any money for the repair…I tried though. :-) He said to keep an eye on it during the upcoming rain and snow melt(s) and he could always dig deeper if needed in the spring, removing interior sheetrock and then applying water with a hose over suspected area on the roof. If you’re looking for an honest company that won’t steer you wrong, give these guys a call. I highly recommend this company and I would definitely work with them again!"

"We loved our experience working with Legacy. This is our third project we have had them do on our house and as usual the experience was smooth and easy. The communication on our project was amazing as our rep helped us with the expectations we should have with our roof. He then communicated with us as to the status of the project and what his communication looked like until our roof was approved for repair. Once the material was delivered our on-site project manager was there to give us consistent updates on where the project was at and when we could expect to have it complete. "Roofing was fine, but when I called because of a leak 3 months after the warentee period, I was told the rate per roofer was $185 for the first hour and $98 per hour after that. No flexibility or willingness to work with me at all. The leak was not new just newly discovered. Does not matter. Legally they may be right but this attitude is not what customer service I want to have in my life. They will not get additional work from me."

We had some loose and folded over shingles that needed to be repaired ASAP for a sale. They did a great job on the repair for a great price!
