"Overall, the experience couldn't have been better, Linda and an asistant arrived promptly, made sure all shut off valves were indeed shut off ( since ours is an older house and new to us, this took some searching). "The overall experience with Patrick and his team was great.  He showed up half an hour early (which was perfectly acceptable).  He took the time to do a walkthrough and diagnose the problem.  He demonstrated his extensive knowledge by asking all the right questions.  He agreed to do the work on a follow-up date, but ended up coming back that very same night to complete the job due to a potential scheduling conflict.  Patrick was very thorough in the work he did and even made a trip back to his supply store to get some parts he needed (on his dime).  Although he did some extra work for me, Patrick never deviated from the price of the original quote.  The individual Patrick brought with him was also very professional and worked efficiently to do the rodding and pump replacement that I needed.  I would certainly use McDonagh & Sons for my future plumbing needs."

"I selected Safeguard after getting bids from two other companies, and I'm glad I did.  Everyone I interacted with - from the field representative to the technicians to the office staff - was professional, friendly, and helpful.  I had three foundation cracks and a pretty weak secondary sump pump that I decided to replace.  The work was done quickly and skillfully.    <br /> A few weeks after the job was completed, the office called me as a courtesy follow-up to ensure my satisfaction, and to see if there were any issues or questions I had.  I mentioned that I found what appeared to be another very subtle crack that was missed at the time of the first estimate.  I also mentioned that I was having an issue with my primary pump.  Later that night I spoke with a technician that went out of his way to help diagnose the primary pump issue.  The next morning, the field representative was back at my house to look at this other crack and confirmed what I suspected.  A few days later, the crew was back and repaired the final crack as well as replaced my primary pump.  Turns out my primary pump had bitten the dust. <br /> I had used an Angie's list coupon on the first job, and after talking to Safeguard, they agreed to apply that coupon to the second job as well since they missed that last crack.  In the end, no harm done, and they went above and beyond to make sure that all work was complete, and that I was a satisfied customer. <br /> I would recommend Safeguard for foundation repair, although I hope I don't need any further foundation work for a while! <br /> - Steve"
