Everything came out beautifully. The entire crew was extremely professional. We have a few plants struggling and Chalet will be replacing those at no additional cost. You definitely pay top dollar for Chalet, but you get what you pay for and they are worth it for a project like this."

"I didn't use American Gardens due to the cost of his work.  His bid for installing a brick path was 3.5 times more than the next highest bid and 6 times more than the lowest bid.  $20,000 is just way too expensive for installing a brick path in my yard. He's not affordable to the average/above average homeowner, even if they do quality work. <br />"

"Though weather related delays made nailing down the date difficult, they were good about communicating in advance. They came in the afternoon, finished the front lawn and returned the following morning to finish the back. The uneven lawn and dips, especially in the front, were all levelled and the sod looked good. Approximately two weeks after following watering directions, several patches of sod in front and back were dead. Upon emailing them, they returned within four days and completely replaced the dead areas. Three months later, the grass looks good!"

"<p>I would highly recommend Andrew/Build by Design.  We initially hired Andrew to finish our basement.  He has great ideas and allows you to visual them through CAD drawings with his quote.  We found him very easy to work with.  When another contractor failed to show up to run water, gas and electric to the outside of our home prior to the basement being complete, Andrew helped immediately.  The quality of his work is very high.  Our basement already had a finished fireplace.  We had leftover brick from construction and Andrew was able to use that to create a wine storage area and wood holder on each side of the fireplace that look original to construction.  If we requested small changes during construction, he was happy to accommodate.  Since the completion of our basement, we've hired Andrew to install crown molding and chair rail upstairs and plan to use him to make some modifications to our kitchen.  There is really nothing he can't do.  We could not be happier with his work.</p>"
