Alliance has several crews and were able to get to us quickly. First visit was great (David), who provided the quote, alternatives, samples, pictures & addresses of previous work. Separate gutter crew came shortly after siding was done. Cost was $28,000 for a 2 story cape with shake siding. We love the shake look compared to traditional horizontal siding, esp for a cape house. "From beginning to end, it was a great experience -- surprisingly great, in fact.  Our garage was getting old, and we were trying to figure out what do do about it.  We invited Mr. Harris out to our house and -- surprise # 1 -- he seemed far more interested in helping us figure out what actually needed to be done than in talking us into hiring him.  We agreed that the roof needed replacing, but -- surprise # 2 -- he didn't want a materials deposit until he could give us a firm start date.  He estimated that he could get to it in about four weeks but -- surprise # 3 -- actually got to it much earlier than that.  He gave us a start date and -- surprise # 4 -- the crew showed up and did the work on the promised day.  And the roof looks just terrific -- which, after surprises 1-4 -- really wasn't a surprise at all!  We've already hired him for a number of other projects and can't say enough good about his work & his service!!!!!!"
