"We've used Constantly Running for plumbing issues such as fixture replacements and pipe leaks and have been very satisfied with work performed by James Russell, proprietor, and his staff.  We'd had them out to install a new garbage disposal and snake a slow bathtub drain.  While cleaning out the drain James discovered that there was a small hole in the drain pipe that had been covered by accumulations of debris that once removed, allowed water to drain through the hole onto the ceiling of the room below.  In conversations about the state of the bathroom in general, we'd mentioned that it was our intention at some point to have the bathroom renovated. They had to return to replace the defective portion of drain pipe and repair the ceiling of the room below and while they were working, James offered to renovate the bathroom at a price that sounded eminently reasonable.  I wasn't aware that this was a service he offered, but since we've always been impressed with his work, we decided to go ahead with the project.  At first glance if looked straight-forward, in term of removing old wall and floor tile and replacing it, as well as the tub enclosure and the vanity.  It turned out to be a larger project, as the all the walls and flooring need to be taken down to the wood frame.  The walls and flooring were replaced, and new tiles, fixtures and paint that we had chosen and purchased were installed.  The craftmanship was exemplary.  James and his staff were totally competent, eminently courteous and friendly, and the job was done in a timely manner.  The renovation turned out better than we had ever thought possible, and we are very happy to have been able to work with him, and hope to do so again with another bathroom.

The plumber showed up promptly, and quickly determined the services needed for my kitchen sink. Ira was able to perform the work at that time, but I had another appointment and had to leave. I called the office later in the day, and they were able to schedule me for another day within that same week. It was a pretty stubborn clog. I tried clearing it for weeks before I realized I needed to call in a professional.  Ira was able to snake and flush the drain successfully, and recommended a product to use intermittently, to possibly help prevent future drain buildups. I liked Ira - he was very pleasant and very personable. He constantly stayed in contact, calling the morning of my appointments, and calling to let me know  when he was just minutes away. He was professional and cleaned up the entire area after the work was completed.  I have already decided to contact Pipes & Pumps again next month, to take care of some additional plumbing issues around my house. I'm glad I found this provider on Angie's List, and I'm glad they offered a pretty nice discount too.
