"!)I booked the Angie' List coupon on Sunday night, and got a callback on Monday, and the work was done on Tuesday!  Brandon and Edward showed up promptly within the time frame allotted, and explained what they were going to do.  The Angie's List coupon only covered the cleaning of the tile and grout, but for an additional amount, I decided to have them put a color seal on the grout that would keep it from getting discolored for several years.  The grout had gotten considerably darker over the 5 years since I had had the floor installed, and when they showed me what the color seal would restore, I decided to pay the extra amount.  Because the grout cleaning and sealing was done by hand with a toothbrush (!), something that I couldn't do myself, I realized that it was worth the extra payment!  The floor looks like it has just been laid, and I am very pleased with the outcome of my Angie's List purchase!  One caveat is that the cleaning does NOT include sealing of the grout, so even if you want a clear sealant put on, there will be an additional charge, but as I said, I opted for the color seal that was more expensive but would keep the grout looking good for some time to come. <br />"

"We had not had our carpet cleaned for many years, during which time we had a dog and two cats, and the carpets were quite dirty. Positives: The technician did a good job getting the dirt. The carpets look much better. I appreciate that he called me at the beginning of our time window (10:00 a.m.) and told me that he thought he would not arrive until about 11:00. It was a slightly later than that because he was unable to start his truck and had to get a jump. When he arrived, he apologized for being later than he had anticipated. Overall, he was very courteous. The carpets do not have the residue that I have experienced with other carpet cleaners, nor the chemical odor. When the technician arrived, he was surprised at the amount of carpet that had to be cleaned and was initially quite stressed about the fact that he did not think he could get the carpet cleaned before his next scheduled job. (In the future, I will take the time to measure the carpeted areas and provide an estimate of total square footage. I do not fault Clean Green for the misunderstanding.) I called Clean Green and explained the issue, the technician’s schedule was adjusted, and that solved the issue. I appreciate the helpfulness of the woman I spoke with at Clean Green. She called the technician immediately after I talked with her and made the necessary scheduling change. Negatives: I wish I had known the technician would not move any furniture. I had asked ahead of time whether he would, and I was told he would be working alone, and therefore could move only chairs. (My experience with prior cleaners is that a crew of two would be used, they would move most of the furniture, and they would place the furniture on wooden coasters so that the furniture would not bleed onto the carpet.) Unfortunately, the technician did not move any furniture. I hurried to move as much as I could but because the technician began spraying all the rooms with cleaner, I did not complete moving the furniture before he started. I moved the heavy furniture, assuming he could move the few chairs and small tables, which I had cleared. He did not, so there were several areas that were not cleaned, the most obvious of which was an area under a table and chair. One of our cats had thrown-up under the table. By moving the (wooden) chair, that area could have been cleaned. It was not. The carpet took significantly longer to dry than I had expected based on Clean Green’s advertising. Drying time was similar to previous cleaners, about 24 hours. Most importantly, the technician left a wet rag on one of the runners of our 200+ year old rocking chair. Unfortunately, we did not see the rag until that evening. We removed it and I wiped off the runner, but it has water damage the width of the rag. Overall: I would consider using Clean Green again, but I would clarify the amount of carpet to be cleaned, move furniture ahead of time, and pay more attention to the technician’s actions."
