We actually hired a different company that promised to make our house all new again, but we had a lot of delays and communication issues, and ultimately walked away from that company. Johnson and Sons rose to the occasion and were able to get us back into our house quicker than the first company would have. Our remodel was basically the whole house. Floors, interior paint, all 3 bathrooms and the kitchen. The price was competitive. The timeline was good. The communication was outstanding, which was very important to us. Vic was always available to answer questions and proactive in letting us know what was going on. Jon and Tony were patient and willing to make adjustments as requested. We did discover an issue based on a previous contractor's faulty work, but Vic was quick to explain the situation and give us options and prices. We would definitely recommend them to others."

As part of the work, he also fixed a draining issue and added insulation where it didn't exist before. His knowledge of what to do and how to fix things was impressive. What I appreciated the most was that Paul takes the time and effort to do everything with high quality, and when bringing in sub-contractors, he ensured all their work was up to his high standards. The idea of turning over our bathroom to them for two days was somewhat intimidating, but they were very prompt, professional, and personable, and kept us informed as needed every step of the way, answering any questions we had. They were very careful about keeping the pathway to the bathroom clean, minimizing any debris while taking out the old shower, and completely cleaning up when finished, hauling all removed materials away. They also were very thorough in leaving us contact information if we have any concerns requiring follow-up, which we do not anticipate needing.
