"The job went excellent. Shay repaired about 100 lineal feet of fencing that had blown down. He placed new posts in new concrete. Did all new framing and even got me a great deal on the fence boards from a local supplier rather than paying over double at the big box stores. He really cares about doing a great job and is meticulous and makes sure everything is done right instead of trying to rush through it. I woukd absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for work done around their home or property. I'll be hiring him to rebuild my deck this spring as well!"

"Had SD Express (Honeycomb Construction) paint our garage and WOW - it made a huge difference. Overall very happy with the outcome and service provided by Eugeniu and his brother and would hire again (have already recommended him to family members). I sent Eugeniu an email and he replied promptly and came by for an in person visit to provide an estimate (I was only interested in prime / paint at first) but Eugeniu recommended that we mud / sand the walls first to give the garage a smoother finish. The estimate process was easy and when we agreed upon a date / time for service, Eugeniu was professional and arrived on time each day. Eugeniu and his brother covered the paint site with appropriate protective cover so the paint would not stain the floor or a few of our personal items that we left in the garage. They applied mud the first day, sand and prime the second day and painted the ceiling and walls the 3rd day (white ceiling and grey walls). The paint job made a huge difference - what was previously unfinished we now look forward to organizing and making it a useable space"

"He came out and did what we had asked. He also gave us some recommendations to some other things that we needed to have done; he was very informative. He repaired our fence. He also helped strengthened the fence with a tie wire. Four years later the fence is holding up just great."

"We moved into a house with no railing on a high-up, small balcony and hired Volkan to install a railing. We met with two contractors for bids, Volkan and Ballard Ironworks (Ballard had come highly recommended by multiple neighbors). Ballard is clearly the high-end solution, and they offered a custom but simple design for double the price we paid Volkan.
Volkan responded very quickly to come by and give a quote and suggested a pre-fab option to save cost. He emailed me photos of the pre-fab railing so I knew exactly what I was getting. We are happy with the railing and are glad we did not pay more -- the pre-fab design works just fine for our needs.
The only reason I gave B's is that the site was not cleaned up after. The calking weather sealant where the railing bolts meet our balcony marked up our balcony. If this was unavoidable that's fine, but Volkan should have mentioned it and told us we need to re-paint or offered some other solution. There was also mud and dirt left on the balcony. Otherwise I have no complaints.

"Heather is awesome! She was punctual, knowledgeable, and courteous, and took the time to inspect everything thoroughly. She showed me how to change out the furnace filter and even rearranged the rocks in my fireplace to give it a fresh look, above and beyond! She also troubleshot some work done last year (by another contractor) that was not done properly and gave good advice. It's rare I feel good about shelling out a few hundred bucks for maintenance work, but Heather delivered a high quality service and left me with the confidence that everything was checked correctly and is in good working order. "Before we began Jim made it very clear that they don't bid a job out for a specific figure, but instead work by the hour. I was a little nervous about that, but from the very get-go I was impressed by Jim and Tom's great work ethic and industriousness. Those guys are fast, and GOOD! They were polite, conscientious, and meticulous. No detail was overlooked. They also helped with the purchasing of materials -- something I was unsure about. Every morning they would swing by whatever store I needed them to, picking up supplies including decking, cabling, railings, etc. They simply purchased the materials (with receipt) and I reimbursed them directly, or they had a clerk call me so I could pay over the phone. They made everything so easy. A representative from American Metal Specialties (where we purchased the cable railings, etc.) came out to the property and was so impressed with the deck installation that AMS added Jim and Tom to their list of recommended contractors which they provide to their customers. The representative even took photos and promised to post them on their website as an advertisement for their products. Job well done, Jim and Tom! I can't imagine hiring anyone else.
