"Prior to starting the job, Dig Safe was notified and scheduled a survey of vital areas on the property. <br /> Day 1 started with the removal of the plastic edging and flag placement for all sprinkler zones. <br /> The next day the garbage was removed from site and there was a wait until Dig Safe survey was completed. <br /> In the weeks to follow, Excavation was conducted in a logical way as to minimize large machinery travel over the lawn. <br /> My immaculate lawn was pretty much destroyed and Rick assured my that it will return to normal. <br /> I want to note that at the end of there work day the work areas were cleaned up and areas that were potentially hazardous were roped off with yellow tape. <br /> The patio was the first to be completed, followed by parts of the house perimeter sailor border then the pool perimeter border. <br /> The front steps were brought in next and they encountered issues with the Granite pieces. Gagne and Sons were quick in the response of getting replacement pieces the next day. <br /> Finally, the asphalt driveway was removed and the excavation had begun. <br /> With the Driveway installation completed, They tied in all the sailor border areas that were not yet completed and focused on lawn repair. <br /> The Lawn repair was also coordinated with irrigation relocation and repair. This was a little frustrating due to the scheduling difficulties. "This project was more complicated than we anticipated, because some of the work belonged to the town and some belonged to us as property owners.  JayDee helped facilitate the discussions between the town and ourselves.  There was an extensive delay -- really not due to JayDee but due to the town's staffing changes.  Once this was resolved, the work went well.  JayDee and his team arrived on time and JayDee met with us to review the final design and pricing.  They proceeded to transform our driveway, the walkways, and the paving alongside the road in front of our house. <br /> We stayed off of the new paving for over a week, just to be on the safe side.  The true test came when we had torrential rains that caused flooding in other parts of our town and in many places in Southern Maine.  I watched as the water came rushing down our street.  Funneled by the slight trough alongside the road, the water rushed past our yard and house, and went down the storm drain.  Not a drop of rain came into the side yard and basement from the street flooding.  What a relief! <br /> In addition, the new driveway and walkways are attractive.  We are very happy with the work performed by JayDee and crew. <br />"
