"The team got me in same day really quickly and had excellent communication throughout the process. Really appreciate their help diagnosing my system and implementing a quick fix to get my AC blowing cold again. Thanks Ethan."

"We had tried to do this repair ourselves, and had parts from Moen, but were unable to remove the old faucet. The first tech, who did our plumbing analysis after we signed up for the VIP program, was also not able to remove it. After we explained the problem to Anderson, they sent Chris. Unfortunately, Moen had sent the wrong part so he had to come back. But once we had the correct part Chris replaced the faucet with a minimum of fuss or mess.  Couldn't be happier with our experiences with this company and very glad we signed up for their VIP program!"

"He was fast, reliable, and professional. He will probably hate me for giving him more business with this review, but this guy is tops in my book. He called me back and said he had a couple of jobs before me but would be out before noon, and he was. had hot water by dinner time. He cleans up after himself, and was very professional the whole time. I highly recommend <br />"

"Back in 2013 we decided to get my mother a walk-in tub. Gary with Bath Innovations Walk-In Bathtubs & Remodeling did a great job. His team was on time, and took out the old tub and installed a walk-in tub . Other companies give us bids but we went with Gary's tub, not just for the lower price but the tub sold us. It's still running and looks great."

"It went very well. After a bit of a wait, I received a very comprehensive report of 88 specific items as well as bacteria, fungi and particles. Each Item detected over the EPA drinking water limits had an explanation sheet. Also provided was a contact person at the company to address any questions you had about the report findings. I thought the service was well worth the $300 just for the peace of mind. I intend to use the company on an annual basis going forward."

"Paul, Bethany and the guys have been amazing. They were great to work with the entire time. Our project was large and covered numerous areas (construction, plumbing, electrical, flooring...), and we thought it was going to be a challenge to manage from out of town, as we live 5 hours away. Paul and Bethany gave us great confidence that they would take care of us, and made it very easy. They did everything we asked, on time, and on budget. They even fixed things we didn't think to ask about. When we asked about them, Paul just responded, "we were already working in that area, we're not going to ignore something just because it isn't in the contract". We feel like they treated our home like it was their own. We cannot recommended Laurie Kitchen and Bath highly enough. They are awesome. Feel confident when you work with them. Thanks."

"I definitely liked the service. He was prompt in getting over here. Once he did the cleaning, he said that if I have problems again and if it re-closes up again pretty quickly, to give him a call and he would come out and start the hourly where he left off. He wouldn't begin again at the first initial hour where he charges whatever. It would save me some money that way. He was just honest and a good guy. He cleaned up after himself. I just felt like he did a good job. The price was reasonable. I was honestly expecting a bit more so that was okay. This is actually the second time we have used him. A year or two ago we had the same problem and he came out and fixed it up."

FAQs for plumbing installation for a remodel or addition projects in Sedalia, MO

Adding bathroom plumbing to a detached garage starts with the basic line installation cost of $900 to $1,300. On top of this base expense, you'll need to budget for each fixture. A toilet costs  $250 to $550, sinks cost $150 to $800, and a shower or bathtub costs $400 to $1,900. The project will also require ventilation, moisture-resistant materials, and possibly electrical work. Remember that these costs reflect only the plumbing aspects—additional construction, finishing, and permitting expenses will apply to complete a functional bathroom space.

While certain aspects of garage renovation might be suitable for DIY enthusiasts, plumbing installation requires professional expertise. Connecting to water and sewer systems demands specialized knowledge and equipment, and improper installation can result in severe water damage, code violations, and potential health hazards. Most municipalities require permits for plumbing modifications, and these often stipulate that licensed professionals must perform work. Consider limiting your involvement to simpler tasks like painting or basic finishing work.

The timeframe for adding plumbing to a detached garage spans one to three days for the actual plumbing work. However, this represents only the active installation period. The complete project timeline must account for planning, obtaining permits (which can take weeks depending on your locality), coordinating multiple contractors if needed, and addressing any unexpected challenges that arise during installation. Weather conditions can also impact excavation and outdoor connection work.

Adding plumbing to a detached garage will likely increase your property taxes. Tax assessors consider plumbing an improvement that enhances property value and functionality. The specific tax impact varies by location and project scope. Converting a garage into living space with plumbing facilities can trigger significant reassessment in many jurisdictions. Before proceeding with your project, consult your local tax assessor's office to understand the potential tax implications and factor this ongoing expense into your decision-making process.
