"I had an issue with my sprinkler system where I kept getting a fault on the Master Valve. I have used Tri County Sprinklers for over 10 years now and I am glad I called them again. Andrew was the tech that came out to do the work. Master Valve can be a scary one because I have heard nightmares in the neighborhood of cost to replace. I watched Andrew troubleshoot my system and find that it was only a bad solenoid. After replacing the bad solenoid and a couple of test runs I was back to watering my yard again. He also found a couple of things that needed some attention and adjustment. Things that you or I wouldn't look for when the sprinkler system is running. Here is what I can tell you about the last 10 plus years of dealing with Tri County. I have never been overcharged, over sold, or felt scammed. They are always professional and punctual. If they are running late they give you a courtesy call. Scheduling and bill payment is a breeze as well. Their lead time is long, but so is everyone else in the sprinkler business in San Antonio. Do yourself a favor and don't ask the landscaper down the road if he can fix your system, or try to find someone to get there the following day. Tri County Sprinklers has to be busy for a reason right? Thanks again Andrew! Hope you are finding some shade out there in the heat."

"The guys showed up on time and were polite. But buyer beware if you use this company you need to read the details for whatever special they are offering. I called them for the sprinkler tune-up and it turned out to be a trip fee/diagnostic fee and felt less like a tune-up. They very quickly looked over my irrigation system and missed one of the heads that needed to be replaced. I did ask them prior to the work starting if I could pay the initial sprinkler price of $75.00 and call them back since I thought it was overpriced so I could get several other estimates. I was then made aware that I could do that but if I had them come out again it would be an additional $75.00 trip fee plus the repair fee. This definitely rubbed me the wrong way and it felt like a pressure sales tactic. The job entailed 3 sprinker heads needed replacing and a small section of pvc pipe needed to be repaired. I felt the quote was over charged at ($350.00). Why did I still have the work done. In all honesty I just wanted it done and I was already in for 75.00 and they were already there. In conclusion ask lots of questions, they do offer 1 year warranty on the work they do. The worker did replace the one sprinkler head I pointed out that he missed for free (why I gave 3 stars and not 2). Do your research prior to booking this company all the best."

"Called Emerald to replace another (incompetent) sprinkler repair company. I had a leak somewhere in what I thought was my sprinkler system. Emerald had a crew of 3 guys come out the day after I called them. In under 10 minutes, they determined the leak was in my plumbing system (main water line to my house). Within 2 hours they dug, found the leak, replaced, and cleaned up. They even rinsed off my gutter's splash guard to tidy up. Very friendly and professional crew. I found my new go-to sprinkler repair system. Technically they can touch the plumbing lines if it is outside the home. I can't thank them enough. The other company was going to charge me 1000 dollars more and (in retrospect) not even fix the problem. So glad I found emerald."
