"I needed carpet installed in a small area including 5 steps and a landing area. It had to be done before my daughters wedding on the 12th of Feb. They installed it on the 8th. They did a great job. and would use them again the next time I need a flooring project."

"They did a great job. The minumum charge under Angi exceeded what I expected for this effort, but that was not the fault of the team that fixed our carpet. Thiings look good. They responded quickly and showed a clear focus on delivering quality service."

"I am a bit conflicted on how to rate this company.  I would give the owner an "A" and the install team an "F".I contacted this company to replace the carpeting on the first floor of my small medical office.  The owner(Robert) promptly came out, evaluated my office and gave me an estimate.  I was concerned with the moving of some large file cabinets, and Robert suggested he cut around them and supply me with a section to replace the part under the cabinet should I ever move it.  This was acceptable to me.  We decided on a date for installation.
On the day of installation, the crew(3 Men) arrived late.  Throughout the day, one or two were constantly leaving so it was rare that all three were here at the same time.  My office consists of a small reception area, waiting room and 4 small exam rooms.  The crew took over 6 hours to install the carpet.  I was in another part of the building, and at one point when I checked on them, I found one person working in the dark(!)  When I questioned him about it, he simply stated the power just went out.  I checked the circuit breakers and noted a breaker had been flipped, so I turned the breaker back on.  When I questioned the worker about whether he plugged something in, or why the breaker was set off, he became sarcastic and responded, "Well its on now isn't it?"  Rather than getting into an argument with him, I let it drop. When the workers were done, they came to me for payment before leaving.  There were scraps and fibers everywhere.  I asked if they were going to vacuum it, and they responded that they didn't have a vacuum cleaner.  I asked where the pieces were for under the file cabinet, and they said they would leave a scrap(I later found all their carpet leftovers and scraps outside my front door which I had to haul to a dumpster).
When putting everything back in place in my office, I noticed my main computer server was on the floor with one side hanging off it.  I thought this was strange as I had left it up on a counter.  I tried to turn it on and it would not turn on.  Upon closer exam, I noticed a big dent on one corner.  I realized the computer was probably knocked off the counter and hit the floor, shorting out and causing the power outage.
I called Robert who was genuinely concerned.  He spoke with his employees, and after numerous calls back and forth, his employee admitted knocking the computer off the counter and causing the power outage. Robert did the right thing in covering the cost of the repair and even put me in touch with a computer expert who came to my office Saturday night and repaired the computer.  I could not have opened my business on Monday without that computer.
So in summary, a horrible installation experience, but the owner was supportive in helping me resolve the issue.  In summary, I would not use this company again."

"Installer was efficient and cleaned up as he went. Excellent price for the spot repairs in the carpet that were damaged from my pets and replacing the flooring in the hallway. Would definitely recommend and I'm already considering hiring Paul and his guys again for another, much larger project I have."

"It was basically good although I never felt it was finished. They were very nice, on time and all of these good things, but there was a fault in the carpet that they installed. It was a woven imperfection. Nobody saw it until later it was totally installed. So, he gave me a choice whether I wanted a further discount or I wanted them to come right back and put a whole new carpet in. I told them I would take the discount so that is how it ended. I did not write a review because I did not want it to sound bad for them because it was totally an innocent mistake and they did make good on it. They were on time, pleasant and honest. They were supposed to send me another invoice because the size of the room was bigger than the deal was covering, but they never did send me another invoice. Because of that imperfection in the carpet he did not even send me another invoice. He went out of his way to bring few carpet samples to my house. I was not even home and he left them here. So that was really nice. Even though there was a problem they were very willing to fix it."

FAQs for carpet repair, refasten, or stretch projects in Sellersville, PA

Removing a rug costs around $0.40 to $0.50 per square foot. This includes the fee for a contractor to roll up the rug and haul it away in a vehicle for disposal or recycling. If they need to move furniture, they might charge an additional $0.25 to $0.30 per square foot of furniture.

If your carpet has minor damage—like a single area that requires stretching, patching, or cleaning—it might be less expensive to pay for carpet repair than remove and replace it. Repairing carpet costs around $210 per project.

The cost of carpet cleaning is about $190 for a three-bedroom home, so it’s a good idea to have your carpet cleaned at least once a year. But most carpeting only lasts 10 years. If your carpet is nearing the end of its life span, it might be more cost-effective to remove and replace your carpet than to clean and repair it. The average cost to install a new carpet is about $1,800.

Search our directory of carpet removal companies and services to find an affordable, screened contractor near you. All HomeAdvisor listings are vetted, reviewed, and rated by homeowners, so you can be sure to find a local pro qualified for your project. Get at least three quotes to compare prices and the timeline for your project.

Commercial carpet removal usually costs on the lower end of the carpet removal price range, around $1.10 per square foot or even less. Carpet installation contractors often offer discounted rates for larger projects, like commercial carpet removal and installation. Similarly, you might be able to negotiate a lower residential carpet removal cost if the carpet is pulled up throughout your entire home.

Most cities accept old carpets as bulk trash, but you may need to schedule a special pickup and prepare the carpet properly. Remove any nails or glue residue, cut the carpet into manageable pieces, and roll and secure them. Alternatively, you can take your old carpet to a local recycling center for a small fee, where it can be processed and repurposed.

Yes, you can remove carpet yourself if you're ready for a labor-intensive task. DIY carpet removal requires heavy lifting and tools like utility knives, pliers, and pry bars. The process is generally straightforward but time-consuming for stapled-down carpet. If your carpet is glued down or you're worried about damaging the subfloor, hiring a professional is best to ensure the job is done safely and efficiently.
