"We hired Bradley Construction LLC to complete our basement renovation. The renovation entailed adding a laundry room, full bathroom, framing the basement, and everything that goes along with that. We worked through the design with Terry Bradley, Kim Bradley, and a couple of their subcontractors to get everything just right. This design and quoting process was smooth and ensured everyone was aligned. Once the project kicked off we worked with Kim Bradley as Project Manager. Kim is extremely thorough, dedicated, and was our biggest ally through the project. Kim ensured that all the subcontractors showed up as needed to keep the project on schedule and that everyone completed their work per the plan and at a high level. During the project a couple mistakes were made and without fail Kim picked up the phone and immediately made things right. Kim, Terry, Brian, Glen, and all the folks at Bradley have been a pleasure to work with. It's refreshing to find a true trustworthy professional."

"Very well. I was skeptical at first but Mr Miller put me at ease by sending his information and was very transparent. He said he would be at the location at a specific time, and was. Mr. Miller did a great job staining and keeping me informed of his progress through sending pictures and calling me. I would highly recommend him to anyone and will be using him again for my future projects."

"Oscar and his team were very professional. The guys he had assigned to my job worked really hard to get the old concrete shower walls out of the shower area and replace with a nice modern shower. The job was a complete bathroom remodel and was completed within my budget. Really good job!"

"Three words, Honesty, Integrity, and Compassion. This is the core of this company. From the very first call to get a quote, I knew we would be using this company. Their professionalism, when we met Terry the owner, and Denny the project manager, was obvious from the start. This was a renovation to our home to be able to care for our Special Needs son. Their care and concern, and inclusion (allowing my son to be a part) of his renovation including him in decisions and just talking to my son when here working was an extra plus. Denny the project manager made sure that my son felt comfortable having the crew working here. I cannot say enough about this company, other than to say, if you want a company, you can trust, and a company that genuinely cares about you as an individual, this is the company to hire. And at the end of the day, we wish to express our gratitude to Denny our project manager for going above and beyond, what was expected, for our son. "

"I am 77 yrs old and have to rely on companies being honest.Mr Pratt lied to me numerous times. He promised inspectors to check their work. I never saw one. The company he hired to clean up mold and fungus in my crawlspace did not do anything at all that I could tell. The hot water in my crawl space was leaking and I was not told. I did finally get it replaced. I guess that i should have said that i had a leak behind my bathtub and water destroyed my subfloor in the hall, one bedroom and closet and one bathroom. These were repaired and looked good. However I was told by numerous plumbers who were giving me estimates on replacing my water heater that the subfloor had not been replaced at all. They said new flooring had been placed over rotting subfloors. I can only go by what they said. I trusted Mr. Pratt and the insurance company. They did not do a deligent inspection before the work was done. I would never reccomend Radiant Renovations to anyone."

FAQs for kitchen remodel projects in Seneca, SC

Your galley kitchen needs adequate clearance around any island installation to maintain functionality. Most galley kitchens lack sufficient width for traditional islands, as these layouts prioritize efficiency in smaller spaces.

If your kitchen has an unusual width, consult with a kitchen designer who can evaluate your specific dimensions and recommend appropriate solutions. For narrower spaces, consider alternatives like rolling carts or narrow work tables that provide additional surface area without permanently restricting movement.

Kitchen remodels require six to 10 weeks for completion, though timelines vary based on project scope and material availability. Simple updates like cabinet refinishing and countertop replacement might finish within a few weeks, while comprehensive renovations involving structural changes often extend beyond two months.

Planning stages add approximately four weeks before construction begins. Maintaining clear communication with your contractor and ordering materials early helps prevent unnecessary delays.

Common errors include insufficient clearance between opposing countertops, inadequate lighting that creates shadowy work areas, and poor storage planning that leaves countertops cluttered. Some homeowners select oversized appliances that overwhelm the space or invest in expensive features that don't address fundamental workflow issues.

Careful planning, accurate measurements, and consultation with experienced professionals help avoid these pitfalls and ensure your renovation successfully addresses your kitchen's specific challenges.

Whether expansion makes sense depends on your home's layout, your budget, and your long-term plans. Combining a galley kitchen with neighboring spaces creates more open, flexible layouts that many buyers prefer. However, removing walls involves substantial costs, particularly if they contain plumbing, electrical systems, or structural elements.

Sometimes, optimizing your existing galley layout through better storage solutions and lighting proves more cost-effective than expansion. Consult with a contractor to evaluate specific costs for your situation.

Effective galley kitchen lighting combines multiple sources to eliminate shadows and create visual spaciousness. Overhead fixtures provide general illumination, while under-cabinet lighting illuminates work surfaces directly. Consider recessed ceiling fixtures that don't protrude into limited headspace.

Lighting with dimming capabilities allows adjustment for different activities. Reflective surfaces like glass tile backsplashes or glossy cabinet finishes help bounce light throughout the space, reducing the corridor effect common in galley layouts.
