It is refreshing to deal with honest, hardworking people. They are licensed and insured, and in the area I live in this is hard to come by. What impressed me the most is that they did the job right, no cutting corners, no making excuses etc. If they hit a snag, which this house was built in the sixties as a fishing cabin so there are plenty, they figure it out before moving forward the correct way. Pool screens have varying lifespans based on their construction. Fiberglass screens last from 10 to 15 years, aluminum screens last from 15 to 20 years, polyester screens perform reliably for 20 to 30 years, and stainless steel screens offer durability for 30 years or more. Regular inspections and proper installation ensure these screens perform to their full lifespan.
You should regularly clean your pool screens to ensure they are effective and long-lasting. In a bucket, combine warm water with dish soap or cleaning vinegar. Then lightly scrub the screen with a soft-bristle brush or large sponge using your bucket mixture. After scrubbing, you can rinse the screens with a garden hose and let the screens dry in the sun.
