He said that he was running late from an earlier job, but he was on his way a nd would be here in about 20 minutes. 40 minutes late. It was my off day from work, but I did have other things to do. It would be a good practice to call a customer ahead of time to let them know that he is running behind and give an approximate time of arrival.
