"Excellent customer service. Premier Builders and Remodeling went above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. Their team was courteous, professional, and respectful throughout. This was my first time doing a big home remodel so needless to say, it was overwhelming at times. Highly recommended."

"Moved at a great pace, took care of my permits, and the driveway is immaculate. During the site walkthrough he identified issues the other concrete contractors didn't see, and came up with solutions on the spot. Everyone on the crew is incredibly friendly as well. Highly recommend."

"Shawn Saunders is someone who genuinely cares. He’s a family man, and he brings that same level of commitment and integrity to his clients. I’ve seen his character firsthand. If you feel a natural connection with Shawn, trust that instinct — it’s real, not an act. When the fit feels solid, he’s the right choice. Go with your gut."

"We used Mike and his team to do a full gut / renovation of an 1860 school house. Our home has gone on to win awards and featured in local newspapers! Over the course of construction we had constant communication which was invaluable during a highly complicated project like ours. Highly recommend! "

"American Home replaced my roof and siding, porch windows and some add-on exterior lighting. One of the reasons I chose AHR was not just due to the best price, they came in line with other estimates I received, but because they included things with their final price that similar companies had as add-ons at an extra cost such as the dumpster and gutter system. I did not know what to expect as this was the first time I've had these things replaced. My rep John was awesome, he was professional, friendly and accommodating, and was able to work with me on the spot vs. "I have to check back to the owners" which I got from other companies. John was readily available by phone, text, and in person. He walked me through all the steps, timelines, and the whole process. After the crew finished, he took my list of 'nit-pick' things and made sure they were addressed. Overall I am satisfied with the job, In fact, we recommended them to our neighbors who hired them to do their siding this Spring."

FAQs for addition to existing structure building service projects in Sewell, NJ

You can typically raise your roof by four to eight feet, depending on your home's structure and roof design. The exact amount depends on factors like roof slope and framing support. Raising the roof creates additional interior space, enhances natural light, and increases your home's value. Consult a professional to determine the feasible height increase for your home.

Yes, you need a building permit to raise your roof. Obtaining a building permit ensures your project complies with local building codes and safety regulations. A professional contractor can assist with the permit and inspection process and ensure all legal and safety requirements are met. Your contractor will be familiar with building codes in your area, which can differ between cities or states.

While it's possible to raise a flat roof, it requires extensive structural modifications. Flat roofs lack the attic space and support structures of pitched roofs, so raising them involves significant engineering to ensure safety and durability. This process can be complex and costly, so professional assessment is essential before undertaking a project of this magnitude.
