"We are very happy with our entire experience with A Better Door and Window. Rocko did the first inspection at our home and with his expertise he helped me make a great choice on a CHI Garage door. The installers Bob and Charlie did excellent work installing the door. My next project is new windows and patio door so its an easy choice to start with A Better Door and Window. Keith"

"The entire process went smoothly. The reservation went quickly, once we paid an extra $200 to reduce the pickup window to 3 days. The pickup and drop off process also went well. The car was returned in the same condition we left it. We would recommend using United Freight."

"They installed the expansion tank. They left the instruction booklet after they left and I was reading it to make sure there weren't any special instruction or anything that I had to do on my end. I had ready that it needed to be installed vertically -- it said must be installed vertically. They actually installed it horizontally so I called them up and mentioned that to them. They had said they had been doing it for years and some applications require them to install them horizontally based on space requirements. They said basically if I wanted them to install it vertically then I was going to have to pay for them to come back out. I told them if they had read the instruction booklet they would have seen it must be installed vertically. They said I would not have any problems. So I ended up calling the manufacturer of the expansion tank and talked to their technical support team. I asked them why they put that in the manual and they said they put it back in there because the expansion tanks get heavy and if it is not supported properly in a horizontal position they can leak. Then I called the Myers company back and told them about that. They just kept saying if I wanted them to come out I was going to have to pay them. It kind of left a sour taste in my mouth because it was something the instruction said it should be done a certain way, yet they did it a different way. I have not had any problem with it and I ended up leaving it as it is because the manufacturer said it would be okay that way. But as far as following directions it would have been kind of nice had they actually read the instructions and followed them. I feel it should have been done based on what the instructions said and not previous installs had gone by. They just did it the way they wanted and just figured I would not say anything about it because I am young. I had spent thousands of dollars with them a year earlier because I had a furnace installed and a hot water heater put in you would think they would send a technician out to spend 10 minutes of time just to do it the way the instructions said, but they wouldn't do it without me sending them more money. Instead if was like $95 for them to come out. And their location is close to mine and it wasn't a big job. It only took a half hour to do the job and to rework it it would not have taken them only half the time. They are a very reputable company. I would have thought they would have stood behind their work a little bit better, but I guess you live and learn. But I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. They called me quick and came out, like, the next day."

"RJ Graham Plumbing was working on a job and scheduled me in for right after they finished the job. They arrived at 4:15, right after they finished the previous job, and worked until after 8 pm until the install of new 50 gallon water heater and all connections and parts were installed and old hot water heater (that died that morning with water all over the furnace room and laundry room floors, which fortunately is concrete and has a drain) removed. They did an excellent job. This company is reliable and we have used their services before."

"Our insurance adjuster mentioned that he has had good experience with Kirkenlow Remodeling, Inc. for a long time. After interviewing this and other companies, we choose Kirkenlow. All appointments were on time, or if they needed to be changed, we received a phone call. The roof was installed the day of the appointment and in less than 1 day, quicker than expected. The workers were friendly and efficient. They brought a dumpster, and all old roofing material was removed. We have extensive landscaping around the house and asked that the workers would be careful when removing the old roof. There was no damage to the plantings. We were very pleased with the overall result. We highly recommend this very professional company."

"He knew exactly what he was doing. He tried to just replace a part, driving all over to look for it. But it was an old off brand so we decided to replace with a new faucet. He also tightened the faucet on our other shower."

"The work went a little slower than anticipated but the results were very good. Old houses are full of surprises and mine was no exception. The work team discovered the original art deco bathroom floor under two layers of ceramic and vinyl tile. I decided to keep it and forego the ceramic tile I had chosen to install there. The laborers work hard to remove the mastic from it and brought it back to its original 1930's beauty. They also discovered that I needed to have concrete poured where my bathtub had been to raise the floor level to the grade of the rest of the bathroom floor in order to install my new shower and surround. I also appreciate that Bob Popovich had no reservations about using materials I had already purchased (another company would not do it). When I requested new drywall in my second bathroom in addition to the new ceramic tile floor if was done without hesitation and what I feel was a very fair add-on price. The scope of work included some new electrical, plumbing and fixtures, drywall and painting, hanging of a barn door, as well as installation of a waterproof floating vinyl floor and ceramic flooring. Special thanks to Alvin who went above and beyond the normal scope of work to keep my household functioning as well as possible during the remodel (my dogs loved him too!) In conclusion I would like to say that the other company that gave me a bid was 2 1/2 times higher in price without the inclusion of the second bathroom drywall. It pays to shop and compare."

"Excellent service from start to finish. Installer were very professional and answered any questions I had. They upgraded my 100 year old home from basement to attic and when the job was complete they made sure everything was cleaned up. I would strongly suggest Momper Insulation for any of your insulation needs."
