"We acquired a condominium on the 2nd floor of a 2 family house in Arlington. MA. The existing hardwood floors were beyond repair and we wanted to add a 2nd bathroom. In addition we wanted to integrate the existing sun porch into the living room to more than recover the area lost to the new bathroom, and install central A/C. We had estimates from three other contractors before we met with Pedro from Crystal Renovations. His pricing was very competitive relative to the other contractors, but that was mostly due to the others trying to add work that we didn't want or need. Pedro listened to what we wanted and worked with us to accomplish it. From the very beginning of the project until the end Pedro was always responsive and answered, emails, texts, and phone messages in a very timely fashion. He and his crew and subs were a pleasure to work with and any issues that arose were dealt with in a calm and professional manner. Before and during the project Pedro made several design suggestions such as recessed lighting on the sun porch, shower stall light, and new bath layout that definitely improved on our original thoughts. In the end the project came in on time and with a very small increase to the original estimate despite some challenges he and his crew had to work through. The best part, though, is the absolute impeccable quality of the finished product. We highly recommend Pedro and Crystal Renovations and plan to use them again in the near future."

"James, Derek, Jose and the rest of the DiOrio team were great to work with. We hired DiOrio for a total full bathroom gut job - full demolition down to the studs and then renovation. As part of the process, we procured multiple quotes. James and Derek provided a rough estimate on the spot and then gave us the most transparency through the contract. They were quick to work with and get the contract sorted and signed. Pricing was fair and competitive. Once the project started, communication was great. Our project went on longer than anticipated as we added multiple things in the middle and worked with Boston's inspection process and they were always great managing the project, the contacts, subs, etc. They worked with at each step to ensure we were happy with how things were progressing. James was hands-on throughout the entirety of the project - from start to finish. His attention to detail is fantastic - particularly in the tile work, which was beautiful (despite us having a complicated pattern request). Toward the end of the project, he worked weekends and stayed late to we could get things done within a certain timeline. At one point in the project there was a hiccup from one of the specialists and Derek immediately reached out to us to ensure they would take care of everything. Totally seamless and I really appreciated that their long relationships with the people they worked with gave us security we wanted for the job as a whole. Totally trustworthy and thoughtful around all our kids, pets, home, and yard. They clearly put a lot of thought into the contract which includes all details, so be sure you understand what the finished product will be so there are no surprises. He described the entire process as they were going through the renovation, he consulted with me on every decision and gave me the pros and cons of each option, and he and his team did amazing work.
