We have many mature trees that require frequent trimming. There are Live Oaks, Red Oaks, Crape Myrtles, Elms, Yaupon, and Japanese Maple. Over the years I have used several tree services, with mixed results.

I heard about S&P from neighbors who were very pleased with their work. I requested an estimate. Jesse came the next day. I was very impressed with his professional manner and the courtesy he showed me. The estimate was fair so we made an agreement.

The work was completed easily in one day with a large crew. Jesse was available throughout the day to make sure the work was being done to my satisfaction. The crew showed the same degree of professionalism and courtesy as I had seen from Jesse.

After the trimming, all the debris was removed carefully.

"As usual, Mr. Sosa and his team did a wonderful job for us. We had over 10 diseased trees removed from our property, all over 30ft high. Additionally, we had a major tree trimming job performed on the rest of the mature growth trees on our multiple acre property which had not been properly maintained for one, maybe two, decades. The job required expert care and professional judgement the entire time as many of these trees have grown over the cedar shake roof on both my house and barn. Mr. Sosa's team were punctual on all three days and maintained cleanliness of the work sites when finished. "When the team came out I had one tree that I knew needed to be cut back to provide clearance over the road and sidewalk. They also looked at the other trees and shrubs on my property and made suggestions of what else could be done to keep limbs off my house and keep the trees healthy. I ended up getting them to trim all of the trees in my front yard, remove dead growth from my shrubs, remove two dead trees in the back, and treat all trees. Once everything was trimmed and cleaned out in the front beds they made suggestions for could be planted to make the front look really good. I was extremely happy with the work they did and I will absolutely be using them again for new planting in the front beds."

"I have used this company before with total satisfaction.  This time the work was done as requested but there were delays in the work and several times the workers did not come on the appointment day.  This required a lengthy follow-up period to what I thought would be a one day job.  The company owner responded by throwing in extra work for the same price.  The work was done properly and to my satisfaction.  Clean up was a little short of expectation but we are talking about a few drink bottles and small tree twigs, etc. out of 2 truck loads of vines, tree limbs, a removed tree, and dead shrubbery.  All in all, I am happy and have scheduled for a winter tree trim.  This problem had not happened in 2 previous visits.  I am not an expert but their knowledge of trees and shrubs seems to be  good and professional.  Be firm about appointment times and finish date.

"The crew arrived on time and performed all the necessary work to trim a large oak tree, pecan tree and 2 others around the house. They were fast, efficient, professional and cleaned up when the job was done. I only knew the crew had been to the house because the trees had been trimmed.
