Our fridge went out right in the middle of the holiday season causing our family a lot of stress...that is until we called Appliance guys! "Jeremiah is nothing short of a miracle worker. Our newly purchased home came with a recently remodeled kitchen - but no dishwasher! To make matters worse, the cabinets were not built to standard (just slightly smaller), so it wasn't going to be easy to cut out a cabinet to fit a standard 24 inch dishwasher. We called many companies to try to find someone to help with the cabinetry and appliance installation and could not find anyone who could do both. We were beginning to fear that we'd have to settle for an 18 inch dishwasher just because the required cabinetry work would just be too tight. Then we finally found Jeremiah. He came out for an initial quote. After taking careful measurements, he concluded that he could, in fact, install a standard 24 inch dishwasher in the space. He offered us a quote that was all in: It included cabinetry work, possible electric (adding an outlet), dishwasher hook up to plumbing. Based on that, I ordered a dishwasher and called Jeremiah for installation once it arrived. Installation took almost 8 hours. Jeremiah had communicated that it would take him the whole day, so this was expected. What was not expected was Jeremiah's diligence! It would be too long a review to detail all the cabinetry work he did - but to summarize - he had to cut material from all 4 sides of the opening. He made a template to ensure straight and level cutting. He also went to Home Depot and had them perfectly cut a replacement cabinet wall for the cabinet under the sink! When it came time to install the dishwasher, he was very diligent in the way he ensured it was perfectly level and also properly put under the counter top. When he shared an initial quote, I thought it was high - but given that I could not find any one else to even get a comparison from, I went ahead with it. I am so happy at the quality of his work that I think it was money well spent. After a year without a dishwasher, I am thrilled!!! The only thing that wasn't an "A" was his timeliness. He was an hour late for both the initial quote and installation and I had to call him both times to confirm he was still coming (which he was). Not a huge deal as I understand everyone is different and sometimes other jobs cause delays - but just a call out. I would definitely use Jeremiah again!"

If you prefer old-fashioned laundry style, with top-load, large washers with agitators and big drums, and dryers that do whatever you want them to do? Well, I'm sure you've already discovered what a waste of time it is, going to big chain stores trying to find something you really want that doesn't cost a zillion dollars. <br /> Appliance City knows that we are out here, the customers who want something that's effective and easy to repair, that allow the user (that's me, the mom at home) to decide how the laundry should be treated, rather than some delicate computerized sensors inside the machines making poor decisions. They take old machines, repair and recondition them when feasible, scrap them when necessary. Then they sell 'em. They have great followup and customer service (one time, our dryer installation didn't work properly).  <br /> Their sales and service people are honest, blunt, and fair. Their delivery guys are personable, flexible, and can communicate. They're great. <br />"
