"Troy did a nice job, especially with the carpentry part of the job.  Troy found new railroad ties to replace parts that were beyond repair, but the lumber was hard to find because of its dimensions.  Troy finally found them in Madison, bought them after calling me to discuss price and quantity and then hauled them back.  The old rotted pieces were difficult to remove but Troy kept at it and did a really nice job installing the replacement pieces.  The repair work to the other rot was decent but would have been better if framed out temporarily while the concrete dried.  I told him though that I wasn't looking for perfect on that part -- just good enough to stop further rot and fill in the holes.  I had purchased a 4-hour deal through Angies List and Troy was trying to get done within the allotted time. <br />"

He then offered several options for each repair allowing me to decide, certainly as to the cost, what my comfort level would be. As soon as I made my decisions, he scheduled people to carry out the work. </p> <p>He and his crew came to the work site, explained what they would be doing and got to it. It took a number of days. Let me just say that one of the nicest parts of this work, besides the fact that the finished product looked great, was that the crew kept the area cleaned up through out the work.
